We are a small and friendly Freight Forwarding company located in the west end of Mississauga, currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position. About the job: You’ll be handling day-to-day freight forwarding tasks, including document preparation, booking shipments, coordinating with agents, and occasionally helping with basic warehouse duties. Our work environment is casual but efficient, and we support each other as a team. Please note: We have friendly dog in the office - very gentle and won’t bite. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing FCL/LCL, ocean/air import/export documents - Issuing Bills of Lading, Arrival Notices, and submitting eManifest - Booking with steamship lines and carriers - Sending Pre-Alerts to customers - Communicating with overseas agents and local partners - Tracking shipments and coordinating cargo pick-up and delivery - Providing professional and friendly customer service - Helping in the warehouse when needed (e.g., palletizing, sorting cargo, pick & pack) We’re looking for someone who: - Has at least 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or warehousing - Can multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting - Is comfortable using Word, Excel, PDF, and basic office tools - Is independent, responsible, and a quick learner - Has strong written and verbal English communication skills - this is essential Requirements: - 1+ year relevant experience (freight forwarding/logistics/warehouse) - College diploma or university degree - Fluent in English Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (1 hour lunch break) Location: In person, Mississauga (Near Burnhamthorpe & Ridgeway) To apply, please send your resume to: [email protected]
