Polydyn Inc. is a growing Canadian third-party logistics (3PL) and fulfillment company specializing in warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, transportation coordination, and supply chain operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Carrier & Transportation Management - Coordinate with parcel carriers and trucking companies including UPS, FedEx, Purolator, Canpar, and Canada Post; - Maintain carrier relationships and service coordination; - Participate in rate negotiations and transportation optimization; - Assist in reducing overall logistics operating costs. 2. Daily Pickup Coordination - Arrange and coordinate daily carrier pickups; - Monitor pickup execution and resolve operational issues; - Ensure shipments depart on time to meet service commitments; - Coordinate daily operations between warehouse and transportation providers. 3. Freight Audit & Billing Resolution - Review carrier invoices and transportation charges; - Analyze surcharges, billing discrepancies, and invoice errors; - Communicate with carriers regarding billing corrections and adjustments; - Follow up on claims and freight disputes. 4. Shipment Tracking & Service Performance Management - Monitor shipment delivery status and tracking performance; - Analyze delays and transportation exceptions; - File claims for service failures and delayed deliveries; - Negotiate claim resolutions and carrier-related issues. 5. Operations & Reporting Support - Maintain logistics records and operational reports; - Assist with KPI tracking and transportation analysis; - Support warehouse and operations teams with daily logistics coordination. Qualifications: 1. Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills; 2. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability; 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment; 4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools; 5. Bilingual English and Chinese communication skills; 6. Experience in logistics, transportation, courier, supply chain, or 3PL operations preferred; 7.
