Patient encounters: greeting, validating health cards, obtaining demographic information Greet patients in a welcoming and professional manner Scheduling appointments Receive and direct all incoming calls via telephone and voice mail in a timely and professional manner Receive and route messages or documents such as laboratory results and reports Document processing; faxing, mailing, scanning, and data entry Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality in all patient-related transaction
