I am a full-time English tutor heading into my 7th year of extensively teaching high school and university students. Born and raised in North York, I tested for and was subsequently accepted into the Gifted Program from grades 4-8 and later went on to graduate from the Claude Watson Arts Program (Music Major-Violin) at Earl Haig Secondary School. Afterwards, I pursued an undergraduate degree (BA) from Western University in English and Media Studies, with an exchange semester to California. I also earned a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) 150 hours Certification from the University of Toronto as well as a Teaching IELTS Preparation Certificate from the University of Cambridge.

I specialize in teaching the Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12) Enriched and Academic English curriculum by providing one-to-one personalized tutoring online. I tailor my classes to each individual student to help develop his/her critical thinking and analysis skills, essay writing, reading comprehension, and oral communication skills. I also have experience tutoring in other subjects, including: History, Business, Civics/Careers and Social Science. Furthermore, I have experience teaching at the university and postgraduate level, helping students with their critical reading, research, writing and presentation skills.
