Position of camp teacher: March Break & Summer Camp teacher will be responsible for the day-to-day camp operations. This includes program planning, preparing for the activities, running the activities, and interacting with the children who attend the day camps. They will ensure that the activities and environment continue to be a safe environment for all participants. The teacher will instill confidence and team work to our campers through our engaging activities. The March Break & Summer Camp Teachers will work in the following camps: • Full-day camp • Board games • Performing Arts/Drama/Dance • Fun activities for Mathematics and Science Requirements: • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or Registered with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) • 1+ years of tutoring/teaching experience with children (preferred) • College diploma or bachelor’s degree of education, current students are welcome. • Knowledge of art, music, dance, storytelling, handcraft, or an asset • Ability to work with and engage students at the elementary level in a camp setting. • Likes to work in a team environment. • Vulnerable Sector Screening required.
