We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager for our Accounting department. This role entails overseeing all areas of financial management, include corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, preparation of budgets and forecasts, and the establishment of internal control policies and procedures. The successful candidate will lead our accounting department with below but not limited to: Responsibilities: - Manage all finance and accounting operations including billing, A/R, AP, GL. - Cost and inventory accounting, revenue recognition - Coordinate and prepare budget and financial forecasts and report variances - FX hedging and planning - Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly budget planning and control - Prepare and publish monthly financial statements - Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting - Approve and setup new account with credit control - Plan and execute month end close process - Oversee the flow of cash and financial investments - Analyze information to assess current and future financial statuses - Review costs for optimal budget planning - Evaluate reporting systems and collection procedures - Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting - Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls - Additional controller duties as necessary Qualifications: - Proven working experience as a Financial Controller - 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience - Degree or Diploma in Advanced Accounting - Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures - Experience with creating financial statements - Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process - Excellent accounting software user and administration skills - Professional designation such as a CPA is a bonus but not required - Ability to work under pressure Extended health and dental benefits, 3 weeks paid vacation/year.
