I don’t know whether this would be read but my husband and I deeply thank the wonderful residents at Bamburgh Gates, 1881 McNicol Avenue, Scarborough. When our car got stuck into the snow bank on the boulevard in front of the entrance last cold wintry night (March 10,2023) a female who lived in the neighbourhood tried for a long time to shovel off the snow from underneath the car, and several male residents helped to push but finally we still needed CAA to pull it out. A million thanks to Security, his friend and the residents of this friendly condominium! Plentiful blessings upon all of you!

Thanks so much Cowa for providing such excellent service, especially during cold weather. The food always arrived at our front door warm and delicious. It saved us so much time and portion is big for both mom and dad! I compared a few confinement food companies in GTA and at the end decided to go with Cowa because; (1) it has a central commercial kitchen with permit from the city instead of home kitchen (2) it has a set pre determined menu (3) it allows me use my own glass boxes (4) the service is excellent (thanks to Brandon) and provide lots of flexibility when I wanted to switch the menu a bit. Last but not least, we liked it so much and we ordered two months! Thanks again Cowa!

Authentic Chinese cuisine. Not only are their buns delicious, but their Sichuan dishes are also very authentic. The spicy beef tripe we ordered today was both crispy and tender.

Very nice family style Chinese restaurant. Contrary to the name, woks are actually applied 😆 Waiters very helpful with friendly service. We enjoyed our visit and will be back to try other dishes!

Amazing service by the staff, very delicious food, we tried the Chole bhature, highly recommend you try it. Overall will come again 😊👍

They only take reservations for a party of 6 or more. We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday. There were only a few tables available. 2 hours for dining. Great service and the staff are friendly and attentive. 10% off if you pay by cash. You can choose the level of spice, which is great for someone like me, who can't take any spice. lol The meat is tender and flavourful. Highly recommend the garlic with eggplants, lamb, beef hearts, and the fried milk custard. Would definitely return.

As dining out gets more and more expensive, it is always such a win when I find great food at a great price. At Supreme Taste on Broadview just south of Gerrard you’ll find an authentic Chinese restaurant with dishes priced lower than most. It is a traditional Chinese BBQ house. I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice ($13.95). It normally comes with a disk of scrambled egg on top but I requested mine sunny side up which arrived perfectly fried. The small to medium-sized shrimp were abundant. Fried rice here is Hong Kong style meaning it’s light on soy and has bits of scrambled egg throughout. Each bite with runny yolk, shrimp, and a generous helping of scallions, is the perfect bite. This serving is huge and more than enough for one person if it’s all you order. Customer service is top notch; staff and owners are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Decor is very typically Chinese: a few Fortune Kitties (Fat Toy Mew) at the back, fluorescent lighting, and tables and chairs. All very basic, all the more to showcase the truly outstanding cuisine. Huge bang for buck.

As a spicy food lover, the spicy fish pot was particularly tasty and big portion. There are many side dishes to choose from with great price! I personally loved my fish with spams and various choices of vegetables. On top of everything, the service is amazing as well! Will definitely visit again!
