Ramen Isshin

Friendly and welcoming service. Quickly seated. Everything was delicious. Nice presentation. With my wife being from Tokyo, passes the “authentic” test. With the weather being a bit warm, didn’t have the appetite to try some of the side dishes. Recommend with enthusiasm.

The food here is INCREDIBLE. This is the best Ramen I’ve had in Toronto BY FAR. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is awesome and everything about this place is top notch. Definitely coming here again ASAP! I especially love how warm and friendly the staff members are, their smiles are infectious. Cheers, whoever reads this: BRING YOUR BUTT TO THIS RESTAURANT!

The most flavourful bowl of Ramen I have had so far in trying the different franchises around the city. The Red Dragon is very spicy, so be prepared for that.

I got the spicy red miso ramen and 2 side dishes (age tofu and takoyaki). Side dishes are great - fresh and yummy. The ramen is a bit too salty for my liking, but the portion is great, lots of toppings. Service is a bit strange - I guess because it’s a popular spot near downtown? If you wait for a friend, you can’t sit at a table yet, until your friend arrives. Also seating limit is 1 hour.

By far the best ramen I’ve had in the city. The broth is just *chef’s kiss* and the noodles themselves were outstanding. The staff were amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

I tried ramen for the first time and enjoyed it, although it wasn't spicy enough for my taste. The staff were friendly and always smiling. The place was clean and had positive vibes. It gets busy in the evening.

Isshin Ramen in Toronto is a must-visit for ramen enthusiasts. The Kittori Ramen stands out with its rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles, making it an instant favorite. The Take Yaki are amazing, offering a delightful mix of textures and tastes that complement the ramen perfectly. For those visiting during the workweek, I highly recommend the special combo – it's a great value and ensures you get a bit of everything. The welcoming atmosphere and delicious food guarantee that I'll be returning again soon.

Stone bowl shoyu kotteri tsukemen- 10/10 Black sesame tan tan noodle- 10/10 Chicken shio ramen- 6/10 Absolutely delicious. I had the tsukemen, which is the noodles with dipped broth, and the broth was incredibly hot and stayed hot my entire meal. I’ve had previous experiences where the broth becomes cold at the end of my meal since the noodles cools it down significantly. The pork chasiu was nicely seared and may be one of the best I’ve had. My partner had the black sesame tan tan and he also thoroughly enjoyed it. His parents had the chicken shio ramen (not pictured). They mentioned that the chicken was not flavourful. We also had a four year old with us and he opted to get fries (not from the restaurant) but was asked to stop eating as they had a no outside food rule. While I understood other patrons would see that they had allowed one customer to bypass the rule, this was a kid. His parent ended up needing take him outside to eat his meal instead of with the family. Otherwise, everything was delicious.

Ramen is exceptional here.. I just found the place to be a bit noisy. Otherwise come here for food and you will not be disappointed. I ordered black sesame ramen and seafood one.
