The Caledonian

Fantastic night at the Caledonian. Their servers know their scotch and the food was delicious. They also have a well lit back patio. Washrooms are downstairs.

Edit: From 5 stars to 4 stars because of the deterioration of the service during our last visit. Positive: descent burger, nice atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff, and fast Note: Naturally not all the items in the whiskey menu is available in their stock, so I recommend having one of the staff working with you rather than going through the menu yourself. At the end we got to try a couple of ones that we wanted to try.

Friendly staff, especially Jennifer was very welcoming and nice! Food quality is good. They do not push you to leave or order more. It was a good experience. Thanks

Was taken here for my 50th birthday with a tasting session and staying for dinner. What an absolute delight for a whisky buff, didn't know where to turn! Donna was such a great host, knowledgable and passionate and elevated the already great selections. Haggis fritters and a Sunday roast were all excellent (okay I might argue I do a better Yorkshire Pudding, but I would have to hand in my Yorkshire cards if I didn't ;) ) and to finish off with a deep fried mars bar with a candle in it, just awesome! Don't have enough superlatives for the Caledonian, I think the best I can do though is to say that sitting down there was like sitting in my UK local 20-odd years ago with that sense of peace, fun and relaxation, a perfect event. Looking forward to heading back.

You don't have to be scottish to enjoy a visit. 600 whiskeys, some from distilleries that closed so limited stock. Staff and owner are very welcoming. Haggis, deep fried Mars bars, and much more. My wife said it was like her diet when she grew up near Edinburgh. Brilliant place, going back many times

The best Scottish pub in Toronto that I’ve found. This gem has wonderful atmosphere, service and delicious food. Reminds me of Edinburgh where I’m originally from and I’d even say the haggis is the best I’ve had ever! The steak pie is also delicious, whatever you order here is bound to be great. Highly recommend and have taken everyone I know here at some point and everyone has loved it too.
