White Brick Kitchen

One of my favorite places for brunch food. I came here to try the chicken and waffles and they were amazing to say the least. My friend and I sat out on the patio and were served by a pleasant waiter. The staff seated us fairly quick even though the place was fairly packed on that day. Its important to note that the hash browns were nice and soft and we honestly did not even have to dip them in any ketchup because of how tasty they were. The chicken and waffles that I had were probably in my all time favorite list. The service was prompt and we received the dishes ordered quickly as well. My friend and I were tired from the drive to Toronto and were running low on energy until we came and tried the White Brick Kitchen. It is important to note that finding parking was a bit hard and we did park a couple of blocks away. We did circle around a few times until a location with a free spot opened up.

I went for the chicken as reviews were consistently well received but my experience wasn't in line to what I read. The chicken was cooked well but lacked the flavor of a good fry. For me there was a lack of seasoning as a result the taste was very bland. A shame when a healthy dose of side sauces is needed to bring out the flavour of the meat. I went cause of the reviews and will not go again as for fried chicken Popeye's and even Kfc provide a better fry option.

Chicken and waffles is my go to brunch dish. White Brick Kitchen claims to have the best in Toronto. We were greeted with friendly service and we ordered this dish once we were seated. The server was very helpful and let me order both the original and spicy chicken tenders. Both flavours were juicy. We both ordered a waffle and made our own chicken and waffles. It was good.

My FAVOURITE chicken place in the city. Literally the BEST chicken sandwich ive ever eaten. Also the spicy fried chicken wings have a great hot but flavourful deep spice coating. They also sell donuts and near their closing time they have an end of day sale. Ive come back here many times for the food and friendly service, take my word for it this place is triple A.

A cozy small brunch place/diner with focus on tasty fried chicken. The chicken is crispy, juicy, properly seasoned, flavourful and fresh. They also have standard brunch menu items, like eggs and waffles. Everything in menu is delicious: even sides like molasses beans and coleslaw. The service is great too. They also bake donuts that are slightly more expensive but larger and much more tasty than donuts in your regular Tim Hortons.

This spot is amazing! The staff is quick and friendly. The food is outstanding! We ordered the fries chicken entree as well as the fried chicken sandwich. This place has by far the best fried chicken in Toronto hands down. Note, this place is fairly busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait for a table.... it it is definitely worth it. We will definitely be coming back here again!

Service was great, but the food was not the same. Ordered the eggs benny and waffle and chicken and it just wasn't all that. The donuts were awesome. The s'mores and the lemon donuts are a must try.

It is a very nice and quiet place. I had a lovely brunch there with my friend. I got very special poutine. Definitely, I will go back again.

I was so excited to visit this place. I ordered the chicken with eggs and bagel. (My friend ordered the waffle) I was a bit disappointed with the Chicken when they look this dark. Meaning that the oil has been used for a while. However overall the chicken was super juice and the waffle was delicious.

I kept seeing this place on instagram so I decided to take my boyfriend here. We travelled from Mississauga. I ordered the original chicken tenders and waffles with a side of gravy. It was good, but I think the gravy could have been better. I think they add the spicy seasoning to it, something seemed off. My boyfriend ordered the spicy chicken with a poutine on the side. BEWARE: if you like spicy food, this might be the time you order original over spicy. Their version of spicy chicken seems to be basically drenching fried chicken in a bath of dry Cajun spices. My boyfriend loves spicy food, but could not finish one piece of chicken. The dry seasoning was too overwhelming. There was fine print on the menu advising it was really spicy, but I wish it would've said it was a dry spice. Because my boyfriend couldn't eat his meal, it ruined the whole meal for both of us. It was quite expensive for the two meals and one beer.. around $50-60! I probably would not come back unless they lower prices and I'm in that area craving normal fried chicken..
