Mandarin

My Grandmother comes here fairly often. The servers are all familiar with her and incredibly friendly, Amy even helped her bring her plate to her table when she was struggling. The food is good, large variety with something for everyone, even picky eaters. I highly recommend the teriyaki Salmon and my grandmother adores the grilled pineapple.

We've always come to the Yonge location and AMY is nothing short of amazing! She's always a pleasure and my wife's dad was visiting from out of country and she went above and beyond in making sure they felt welcomed. Her service was so great that her father wanted to include her in our picture!

Mandarin Restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with a wide variety of dishes. The service was good, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, there were a few small issues that prevented me from giving it a perfect score. Overall, it's a solid choice for a meal out, especially if you enjoy buffet Cuisine.

I went there with my co-workers so we can have a nice time together just vent & eat good food. The food has always been amazing at Mandarin one of my favorites my newest discovery was the spicy chocolate ice cream which was delicious! ! ! I mixed it with the coffee ice-cream and Yummy!!! My favorite has always been the lemon chicken and the sweet and sour pork and ribs🤤. Our server was adorable.. she has some nice tattoos on her neck and I asked her about them, she didn't mind😊 We had a great time at the Young and Eglinton location.

Great service, you can also bring your own cake for the birthday and they keep it in the fridge until it’s ready for you. You have to sign up beforehand to get free birthday meal. The food is decent. You can also get a cotton candy. They can also validate your parking if you dine at Mandarin.

I used to enjoy going to Mandarin, but I've noticed a decline in their service this year. Yesterday, I went there for lunch, and the lady at the counter didn't even greet me. She just ignored me, and if I hadn't asked her for a table, I don't know how long I would have been sitting there waiting. Even though there was a table available, she just didn't seem to bother herself and didn't care whether I waited or not. When I finally got a table, I hoped not to be served by the middle aged Asian male server. Every time he serves me, he’s cold and unhelpful, unlike how cheerful he is with other customers. To be fair, the other servers are always friendly, even during busy hours. Ami, in particular, is fantastic. I don't cause any trouble; I just eat and leave. I'm very disappointed with the service because this isn’t the first time I haven’t felt welcomed since this year. I hope they improve their service.

This place has been around for 45 years and I’ve been going since I was little. Food is good. Service is excellent and I wouldn't recommend any of the other Chinese buffets in the GTA. One of my kids will be going to sleepover camp for 2 months and we let her pick any restaurant for her last city meal. She picked Mandarin without hesitation. The only thing to complain about is how full we are. Sincerely hope it sticks around another 45 more years. The experience will probably be just as great. Hi Paddy!
