Loved my time at this restaurant! I ordered the tendon and katsudon (shrimp tempura and tonkatsu) and it was cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy but also super soft and tender. It was perfectly portioned. The staff working was so nice. They checked on me and my friend often and they were super quick with service. Can’t wait to go back again.

Nice little Japanese restaurant. Pricing is fair, food is good, service is friendly. Had the chicken katsudon and it was excellent. Will go back. Would recommend.

Very good Kare Katsu! The service was good too, only comment is there is not a lot of space inside and outside there’s a group of people smoking weed and cigs so just keep that in mind if you come!

Very reasonably priced food especially for Toronto these days. Got a bento dinner for a little over $22 which came with tempura, sashimi, chicken katsu, rice, a side salad and some miso soup. Admittedly, portions might be a bit on the smaller end, again especially for Canada; kind of right in the middle of what you'd expect in North America vs what you'd get in Japan. Otherwise no real complaints on flavor, wasn't the best food I've ever had, but definitely not bad. Portions are similar sized (minus sashimi) when you order delivery on Ubereats. Would likely come back in the future.

Gotten worse over the years. Chicken Karaage is the driest chicken I’ve ever had. Tried twice, awful both times. Gyudon is okay but the ingredients served vs pictured is very different (portions are small). Also ordered a pickup but it was nice out and I asked if I can sit outside instead (they had only one customer) and I was told no. I double checked as some of the staff is struggling with English but it was a firm no. It’s their food, I didn’t need plates and the place was empty… Overall, food quality is not great for what you pay, and the service is mediocre. I have given too many chances but I will not be visiting again.

Food was alright. Very standard Japanese food and dessert. The octo wasa was disappointing; would not recommend trying it. The salmon was alright although portion was smaller than expected. Slow service and overall not great experience. Maybe will come back to try other items.

20240616: Throughout the years, they keep the quality with the Salmon and Ikura taste fresh and delicious. The Shrimp Tempura is crispy and keeps the oil temperature very constant. Thank you so much. 2000: This is a nice place that I feel home. I indulge with the Japanese home cuisine so much.

This is the first food spot I went to after arriving in Toronto. The entire experience was great. The food was tasty, the service was speedy, and the atmosphere was cozy. We both ordered chicken katsu curry. One with an omelet and one with croquettes. The portions were perfect. I was so full when I finished eating. The curry was spiced correctly. The breading on the chicken was very crispy. The service was quick and friendly. The food came out faster than I expected which was amazing since I was starving. The atmosphere was cozy. It's now a huge space but has quite a few seats. The area outside does seem to be a hotspot for drug addicts so it was a little uncomfortable making our way inside. Overall, I really loved the food and would definitely come back the next time I visit Toronto.

I had the pork kstsu curry and it was fantastic. I would definitely go back.

3.9/5 Cute little Japanese restaurant nestled just off Yonge St downtown Toronto. Service was quick and food was good but portions are on the slightly smaller side (or maybe I’m just a pig 🐷🤪) The fish was definitely fresh and tasted yummy however the agedashi tofu was soggy and not so yummy. I’d happily return to try other dishes on the menu. Not to mention there is a large patio out front that looks quite inviting ☺️
