Delicious deep fried pork, chicken, Japanese style

This is my second time visiting this location. I absolutely love the customer service from the kind waitress and friendly owner. We felt very welcomed and the katsu was so delicious. Our group ordered fish katsu (it was our favorite), pork katsu (a bit dry), pork cheese katsu, and chicken katsu. For appetizers we ordered the onion rings (very thin onion) and fried shrimp. The restaurant is very small but we got lucky since we ate early at 5pm on a weekday. I will definitely be back. I just wish there was some outdoor seating!

Mighg just be the best tonkatsu ive ever had. Server made sure our water was never empty for too long. Def recommend.

cozy place! tremendous food, we were served quickly, all around very great experience. if you love japanese fried foods and katsu this is the place to go! washrooms have good mirrors for touching up lipstick and the soap smells really nice too!

I preferred the chicken over the pork loin katsu surprising. It tasted a bit more meaty and flavorful. Overall great and quick service. I would return.

Very nice people and the food was so refreshing and flavourful - not a very deep and overly rich flavour which I like, if I’m back in Toronto I will definitely be coming back!

I don't know why this place is not packed, good food and no so pricy, a good service and good atmosphere, what else do you want??? My favorite place since a few months ago.

The more traditional way of eating this dish which brings the cutlet to the foreground, where the crispiness of the batter and juiciness of the meat have nowhere to hide. Luckily this one doesn't have anything to conceal and also comes with unlimited refill of rice and shredded cabbage, along with some fruity tonkatsu sauce.

Flavour is there in the Pork Loin with Cheese and portion size is decent. Getting the Soba Combo isn’t really worth it in my opinion, and the Miso Soup was a bit cold. Also got the Rosé Tteokbokki (Rice Cakes) and they were not cooked all the way through. The ambience was okay, but the music choice is questionable and unrelated to the theme of the restaurant. Competitor restaurants for either dish will definitely be better bet if you’re looking at value and taste.

A sweet spot on Bloor serving great katsu. We came for dinner and ordered the crispy shrimp as an appetizer and the classic pork loin katsu and chicken curry katsu for entrees. Everything was quite good; however it is a bit lacking in flavour. The servers were very friendly and quick to help. Overall, a nice spot but will definitely try some others before coming back.
