Good spot to enjoy a brunch. The staff was friendly. The food was decent. I like the options on the specials menu. The strawberry shortcake had lots of strawberries, though the cookie portion tasted stale. I enjoyed the curried cauliflower and chez piggy club, which I do recommend.

Very nice outdoor terasse, great service and very tasty food! Recommended when in Kingston! Oysters, Mussels, Scallops, Steak and Tuna Tataki.

This is my second time here. I brought my fiancé from Toronto to experience this wonderful gem. We sat outside on the Patio and dine to our hearts content. Forgot to take photos of main meals but here is dessert. My fiance had the meal of the day salmon linguine, i had beet goat cheese salad with the pea shoot ramen. Our server was attentive and kind. We will return and i promise to bring more chez piggy converts lol Bravo!!

Dine in for dinner. Ordered beef tartare, famous duck leg, and crème brûlée. Beef tartare was fresh and tasty; duck leg was not as good as I expected even though many people give good comments, it is dry and insipid; both dishes were in large portions. Crème brûlée was really tasty and not too sweet. Free bread and butter for starter. Dishes are pricy.

A lovely meal during the lull between lunch and dinner. Great service and the partly shaded patio was dappled with sunlight through the trees. Very comfortable dining and chatting while nestled in among the historic limestone walls that form the alley that connects Princess St and King St. Their daily soup is always a delicious add on to my meal.

What a gem of a place! Food, staff, atmosphere was awesome. We were traveling out east and randomly picked a place to eat and have a drink, very happy with our experience here. Our server Olivia was wonderful and super friendly even when it was pouring rain and we were on the patio not getting wet, big umbrellas and trees saved us. Great job everyone!

We were walking when we spotted this restaurant and decided to eat there. It did not disappoint us - it was amazing. I have never been to a restaurant where the waiter noticed that my steak did not look how I ordered it, but it was delicious and did not need to be replaced. He asked me several times if I would like to have the steak cooked how I had ordered, but it was delicious. They offered a complimentary dessert and even had the chef come out to meet me and apologize. I was impressed with the food, the service, and most of all, the server Gregg. He made our night, he was funny, kept us laughing all evening, and made sure that we had an excellent evening and service at Chez Piggy. It will definitely be on my list of must-visit restaurants next time I'm in Kingston.
