Messini Authentic Gyros

Very meh. Pork souvlaki gyro pita had soggy fries, too much sauce, not enough meat. Meat was a bit tough. Better try elsewhere

Great place in the heart of Greek town. Either for dining in ( huge portions at reasonable prices) or gyros during taste of Danforth ( also in the dining in menu) this is a must when in Toronto. I’ll gladly stand in the sun for 30 minutes to get one lol.

Solid tasting gyros with filling portions. Service could have been a bit better. 4.2/5 Came at 8 p.m. on a Friday and there was still a wait! Ordered the mixed lamb/beef gyro meat platter and upgraded to greek fries for a total of $30 before tax and tip. The price tag is well worth the amount of food you get because the portions were huge. My meal could feed two people alone (and I'm a pretty big eater!). Greek fries were AMAZING with a generous portion of feta cheese, salad was good, and the gyro meat was okay (slightly on the drier side). Service wasn't the greatest because it would always take a good 10-15 minutes to flag a waiter down, even despite it not being too busy. Overall, I'd come back again and try their lunch specials which are even cheaper.

Love the gyros pita, tried both pork and chicken. Both are great, love the idea of adding fries to the gyro. The tzatiki is high quality. Excellent value for your money

I love this place so much. I go every time I miss Greek street food. Gyros is authentic and amazingly delicious. Prices are very reasonable as well. Recommend it highly!

Ridiculous. 4 stars because the prices-quality-quantity ratio is off the hook. Thank you Messini for keeping it real! Had 2 gyros, feta fries and greek salad for like 30 some $, tax included. Who does that anymore?!?!? Good amount of food but who cares if it doesn't taste good? No worries here. It's tasty but next time, I will only have the pork instead of a mixed chicken and pork gyros. Pork seemed more moist and flavored. And their tzaziki sauce. So good. I will ask for extra next time. Fresh and cucumberry. Nice. Their feta fries...so simple yet so satisfying. Finished the whole plate. Perfect portion size for 2. Thanks for not cheapening on the feta. Greek salad was ok but again feta was on point. Crumbly, creamy and not lacking. Plenty of it! Will def come back.

Wow. Just WOW. This is easily and by FAR, the best best greek restaurant i’ve ever been too and perhaps the best in Toronto. These guys just do RIGHT. The Spanakopita was sensational and its the best i’ve ever had. I still think about it to this day. The portions are HUGE, the price is great, and most importantly, the food is spectacular quality. Everything was fresh, delicious, and cooked with love. I absolutely love this place and I need to go back ASAP. Everything you see in my pictures were delicious. Not a single bad item. We had to wait about 15-20 mins to set a table but it was 10000% worth the wait. Thank you!!

Excellent food and service. Had the best time here! The meats were not dried out like some other places and were not mostly fat either. Brilliantly seasoned. There was a long wait but definitely worth it!
