Bread & Roses Bakery Cafe

Tried the croissant salmon sandwich with an iced coffee and it was amazing! However, the owner said I couldn't sit in the shaded seats when I tried to move spots because I already finished my food. I was planning on returning but now won't be.

I used to go to this place every afternoon for my coffee or tea until the cashier was clearly irritated by my request for a cup on ice with my tea. He said they don't do iced green tea so I just ask for a cup of ice so I could make the tea cold myself. When I asked he shook his head in frustration and slammed both the tea and the cup of ice onto the counter when he presented them to me. When I said thank you so much he didn’t respond and when I left he didn’t say thank you or have a nice day and continued to look down at what he was doing. It’s a hot summer day and didn’t want a iced coffee or a hot tea. I didn't think asking for a cup of ice was a ridiculous request? Pretty disappointed by the rude customer service. I’ll be going to another coffee shop from now on.

My go-to cafe at Pape and Chester Station. Very welcoming, warm place. Staff is cool as well. Im addicted to their hot chocolate!

I found this place while seeking solace from the rain, and was wonderfully surprised. There's a unique and tasty selection of drinks and desserts, and some cozy seating options. The staff are friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. (Also, the bathroom is spacious and very pretty!)

I love this place. They give you iced coffee cubes in your iced coffee so as they melt, the drink doesn’t water down (I thought this was pretty brilliant). Also the staff is always so friendly and sometimes on holidays they even give out free snacks!

Not just great desserts and cakes....the food here is fantastic! And gery lovely and friendly staff.

You can smell the freshness outside. My dad goes here and now i get fresh bread from here also
