I've been coming for years and only just realized I haven't reviewed! Veggies are fresh, service is fast and the food is just GOOD. Saves us from having to go all the way to markham for good Cantonese food.

I have been a regular here, for over 5 years. Consistent quality, friendly service, extensive menu. The best Chinese cuisine in the area.

I visited Royal Congee Chinese Cuisine restaurant today on May 25, 2024 at about 12 PM. I bought one General Tso Chicken with Rice. This restaurant is one of the closest restaurants to my apartment. Photos taken on my phone Samsung Galaxy A71.

This place, and others like it, prove the theory that you do not need fancy decorations or presentation to have a good meal in a resturant. The Food is really tasty, and it's very calm and quiet. So i can enjoy a happy meal without feeling stressed.

Usually I never had a bad experience eating here but now I was charged extra for food when I paid cash. I politely asked for the reason for my extra charge and I was told I didn’t tip enough. I was blindsided when I didn’t realize about their tip policy. The waiter rudely shooed me after I paid extra as she requested. I understand that I could have asked about the tipping policy but I won’t be eating here for a while.

We came here to eat because it was close by to the dealership we were at. The dim sum items were the worst I have ever eaten in my life. They should be ashamed for serving it. Tasted like plastic. The washroom is being used as a storage unit. You cannot use the toilet properly. If you want to wash your hands after be prepared to climb over boxes. Unsanitary business. Doesn't even deserve a one star. I got food poisoning after eating here. I do not recommend coming here.
