Super wonderful owners and waiters! I came in with a big group with no reservation and they managed to make the back patio work for us on such short notice. They also made sure we were looked after at all times and regularly brought out water. The food was delivered fast and fresh, and we dug in right away, which is why I don’t have photos for the review. I had a terrific time with friends here, would definitely come back again!

Food is good. Love the atmosphere. The owner really put a lot of effort into decorating his restaurant.

This place is amazing. It was the best Chinese food in North America that we had yesterday. Even the rice was perfectly al dente. My 10 year-old boy took a bite at the fish and actually said "Oh My God"!. The food was tasty, without excessive sugar, oil, and salt, which tends to happen with restaurant food. So, the food was healthy and tasty. The cucumber side dish was really good - unique in that it was different from other restaurants' with a taste of healthiness. We'll come back to the restaurant when in Toronto again.

Food and service was amazing! Definitely coming back to check out the other dishes. Portions are huge! We ordered two dishes and ended up taking him 1/2 of it.

2019:The owners are so friendly. They loved showing my kids their train set; you can tell they do this for love. Every table/chair is hand made or built especially for this family-owned restaurant. Food was fantastic, just like a home-cooked meal back home! 2022: came back and so glad they are still around. Food is amazing. 2024: I love love love this place! Consistently good food and friendly service. Omg so good!

Super nice waiter. Cuisine is done very well with not too much of one taste but well balanced. I don’t even go to a lot of Chinese restaurant but I think this one is the best.

Cute little family run place. The food was authentic, the service is super quick, and the staff is extremely courteous and especially great with kids. The decor is very lively too. Really had an amazing experience eating here!

Amazing dining experience. The owner is very cultured, very friendly, loves life, and pays very close attention to details. It is rare to find a Chinese restaurant that really cooks well these days, but this place does. Even typical North American Chinese food like sweet and sour chicken is next level here because they really care about what they are serving, and the chefs in the back are real chefs. The owner will chat with you if you get him started. Pay close attention to the decoration in the dining room and the bathrooms; very little detail is carefully thought out and has meanings behind them. It is always great to support small businesses too.

Really lovely restaurant with amazing food and service! The owner designed a lot of the place himself and you can tell a lot of love went into it. Him, his wife and staff were all super friendly and made great recommendations. Will definitely be back

Seeing the rating of 4.8 was quite surprising. The place was packed, showing it was indeed popular. Upon asking the staff, they recommended the most ordered dishes for two people: dry pot ribs and braised noodles. The dry pot ribs truly had a unique and explosive flavor, with the fried outer layer of the ribs resembling dried taro from afar but offering a crispy and fragrant bite. The innovative addition of fried dough sticks and lotus root was a pleasant surprise, providing a crunchy texture along with the soft and sticky lotus root. The braised noodles were very generous in portion but didn't live up to their reputation in taste, feeling somewhat dry and lacking in oil, and the accompanying pork slices failed to enhance the otherwise bland flavor. Perhaps substituting with cured meat or treating the meat as done in stir-fried beef ho fun could elevate the taste to another level. The total bill, including tax, was $60. With one dish being excellent and the other less satisfying, it felt a bit pricey, but I would consider returning.

Forget the stigma behind Chinese restaurants here. Awesome service, super friendly staff. I felt so welcomed and appreciated. We were 4 girls speaking a foreign language and nobody made a face or was rude. We loved a the food we ordered, they recommended to share. We ordered crispy duck, beef noodles and eggplant. Every dish was served warm, fresh and they were all delicious. I’ll certainly go back more often. Thank you all for the tasty food and warm reception!

The food tastes really good and the customer service was fantastic. My friends and I had a really great time. We'll visit again after our exercise at LAfitness.
