Overall I really really like this place. Occasionally the service is a little more utilitarian than I prefer (when the team members are understandably slammed or in the middle of the lengthy and ongoing food prep) and really I can't hold this against them because the prices are incredibly fair given the high quality of coffee and food on offer especially in such a crashed out rental market (are you guys paying ~$35k/month like some of your neighbours? Someone put me in touch with the landlords a sap). Sidebar I'm always looking for opportunities to connect awesome female-led/forward businesses with eachother for everyone's amplification; if you know of any phenomenal companies of any size kindly put them in touch with me through the usual channels.

Best drip coffee I’ve ever had! The coffee tastes very pleasant. Staff are friendly and respectful. Vintage atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Got a hot chocolate and it was super good! Very creamy and not too sweet or too bitter.

I have been there twice now and each time they made my day. The egg toast on sour bread is excellent, carrot cake is absolutely delicious (not too sweet like the rest of places), mint chocolate latte and their black coffee taste great. It shouldn't be compared to the corporate coffeeshops, especially with recent quality of tim hortons going down. I would love to come back when I am in the city again.

We ordered a cold brew, but that was simply hot coffee poured out of a jug with ice. Same for the latte. The banana bread was extremely dry.

Carrot cake was sweet and melted in my mouth but enough carrot flavour for my liking. Russian tea super interesting. Sun Chai Latte also good - smooth but spicy.

Had read some very good things about the sourdough egg and cheese. Was just as good as everyone described! Really tasty and heavy at all. It was perfect for a quick breakfast. Also the Guatemalan coffee. Very good as well.

Best coffee shop on Queen West right now! Great selection of coffee type beverages wonderful teas. Don't sleep in this place if you want a caffeine fix or a quick bite!

I love this place. No nonsense coffee shop with good quality stuff at reasonable prices. They do an egg and cheese toast for breakfast that is excellent. Wish I still worked closer so I could come here all the time :) Hot tip: they have a beautiful pack patio for warmer months that most people don’t know about. You’re welcome.

I've come here quite a few times in the last few years. I don't mind paying a bit extra for good coffee. Haven't come in a while, seems like the quality has definitely taken a dip. My wife and I both couldn't finish our drinks, something about them just seemed way off.
