Sweet A La Mode

Famous pastry chef Donald Duong’s dessert place. Products are pretty and tasty. They can pair with coffee, tea, and Sake Chocolates too!! The location is easy to access. Lots of parking spaces. I like the decoration and layout inside “Sweet A La Mode” which makes you feel comfortable to hang out with friends.

A gourmet cafe, with an Asian/Vietnamese twist, tugged in the corner of Stock Yards. High quality food, with slightly higher prices than your average Second Cup. But the place is spacious and well decorated. An excellent place to sit back and relax.

Creme brule French toast was delicious. The Onion soup was done just right, not too salty with a yummy onion flavor coming through. I Highly recommend and even though it's a bit of the way for us we will be back.

Been supporting them since Dessert trends and Bistro days. Their passion cup is my absolute favourite! So glad they opened a new store.

Honestly one of the best places for desert and lunch. Love the the food, great environment, definitely recommend!

Pleasant place to drink a coffee or a delicious pot of tea. The orange marmalade shortbread is also delicious. Cutter in the mouth. Lovable and super professional customer service.

Good desserts, try the duck noodles and creme brule. Cookies are wonderful.

Lovely dessert place but what brings me back again and again is their weekend brunch!! Absolutely amazingly delicious food. I love their Vietnamese fusion BBQ pork and dhrump cake dry noodle… everything in the bowl is so well thought out and balanced. I can have this every day!

The cafe overall is very aesthetically pleasing. Friendly staff, clean furniture, delicious Vietnamese food and drinks. Came here with my family the first time and my parents loved it. Started coming here by myself or with friends to study. Favourites are their banh mi and creme brulees.

I ordered the sandwiches one weekend and they were amazing. I then ordered them again the week after for a big party and they were horrible. The taste, texture and temperature was off. I even contacted them twice and no response. I had to throw the sandwiches in the garbage. What a waste of money and food.
