Nice a place for a family dinner. The food is good and fresh. The vibe of the place is classy and pleasant with a soft music. Servers are polite, attentive and personable. I enjoyed my meal and had some deserts after dinners. It was a bit too sweet for my liking but other than that, this place is a keeper. I will definitely go back a gain.

I've been to Ruby Watchco 4 times and the food/services never disappoint! They have different set menus every night (hight recommend you to check their website for the weekly menus). The main reason why I love this restaurant (besides the amazing food and service) is that they try their best to accommodate people with food allergies. The server and the kitchen staff made sure to change the ingredients and/or replace a dish with someting different so that everyone in the table can still enjoy the food and hae a great time. I really appreciate that as my husband is lactose intolerance, my daughter has nut allergy and my sister has oat allergy :/ PS. they also have wine paring in case you are interested :)

Best service and food I have ever received at a restaurant. Our server was very attentive with no hint of pretentiousness. Everything was served family style and every single dish was wonderful. What would seem like small simple preparations such potatoes or parsnips came out so delicious and filling . Cocktails were well balanced. They even accommodated a request for a tea latte. I wish I could go every night and try every dish.

Went with a group of five for a birthday dinner. Service was excellent and food was great for the fixed price. The family style sharing brought the whole group closer just like when we have our Italian dinners at home. It was loud but fortunately we were seated near the front door where it was less crowded and the sound dissipated quickly. A bit more attention could be directed to the desserts which seemed a bit stale in my opinion. Overall a great place for a good meal when other restaurants in Toronto seem to have lost the personal touch when dealing with the customer.

Second time here tonight and was just as lovely as the first. Love the concept of the restaurant and local foods. This time we we didn't order the add on items because we were so full the first time we did! Meal was still satisfying and very filling. I think my favourite course is definitely the cheese, the spreads always compliment it so well it makes me forget about dessert! Specialty is also in the salads, both times they were phenomenal. Fresh and dressed evenly, not too sour or oily, ingredients go really well together (e.g., today we had apples and blue cheese as some of the ingredients). Only other thing is I think the sides to the main were a little oily although tasty, and dessert a little too sweet for us but that's just minor things :)

Took my wife here for her bday. It's a full set menu with an option to pair with wine. Gotta say everytime from food, atmosphere to service were awesome. I particularly liked the trout they served that night. My only small complaint was that my wife was pregnant and couldn't have the tiramisu so they subbed it with something else, which really wasn't good. I'd totally recommend going there though.

My first visit to the restaurant was excellent; great service and terrific food. Staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about everything that was being served. My second visit was much the same, except the quality of the food was somewhat disappointing. We were unexpectedly served something that was completely different from the set, prix-fixe menu. While the menu indicated slow-roasted smoked pork loin, we were served something that was indistinguishable from grocery store ham. It didn't resemble what we were expecting in the least, aside from being from the same animal. This wasn't brought up by our server, so it was quite a disappointing surprise.

Awesome food superb service! Tonight's dinner menu served family-style include, Ruby's Caesar salad with cheddar biscuits, roasted beef sirloin with bourguignon trimmings, buttermilk & chive mashed potatoes, sauteed rapini with tomato aioli, spring squash with Harissa goat yogurt, cheese tray with preserves & chef Lora's dark chocolate cake. We also added the optional items on the menu...Kolapore Springs Smoked trout mousse with pickles & chef Sam's potato gnocchi with mushroom truffle brown butter. The best & yummiest last-minute decision ever. Looking forward to my next visit.

Great place to have a nice family dinner. Nice atmosphere and amazing staff. Being vegan is not always easy; here it was. The vegan lasagna was really good and they complimented it with roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes and greens. I almost forgot about the salad, also very delicious. I will come back for more!

I found the atmosphere and the side dishes to be great, but we paid over $400 for 4 people (drinks included) and were served one flank steak to share amongst a table of four. Ultimately we could easily each have had individual higher grade steaks at a comparable restaurant for a cheaper price.
