Kinoya Sushi Bar

The food is good, and I won't say it's my favorite sushi place. Service is really good and place is a sober place where you can talk to people while you're sitting there.

Not authentic sushi. Quality is more like a monkey sushi, Kibo or J-San but not at the same price level (too expensive for what they serve). If you want quality and dont mind paying just a few dollars more, go to Minami or Zen Kyoto nearby for better sushi.

I had a delightful mocktail and sushi plus edamame 🫛 Nice environment, great food and efficient service . Great location !

I visited this restaurant twice, and the Korean owner and staff were very friendly. The food was top notch, and my friends who went with me said it was the best sushi restaurant in Toronto.

Hidden gem! Fresh and delicious sushi, great tempura and the drinks were excellent! Overall a very satisfying sushi experience. I would not hesitate to go back again.

Decor looks nice, but food is nowhere near authentic. Okay if you want maki rolls, but everything else is so-so at best. (Udon in particular was bad). Our waitress was nice, but the waiter/host/manager nearby seemed to have an attitude. Won't be returning & will put all restaurants owned by the same person on my "don't bother" list.

I like this kinoya sushi bar. They have got all of the things that sushi bar should have. From the menu to the atmosphere, I think all of the things were good. I ate the lunch box, which was $25. It was a little bit expensive, but all of the foods were perfect. The service is really good and the servers are also kind.

Arrived slightly early for our reservation but were seated immediately. No noteworthy wait for food to arrive once ordered even though the restaurant was quite crowded. No problems getting water refills. Most special order requests correctly fulfilled. Sushi and hot foods all quite good.

Came on a Tuesday evening. We were sat at the sushi bar. We ordered the short ribs for a starter and then the teriyaki chicken bento box for the main. The ribs were a bit disappointing as we’ve had so much better in the last. At $24 for 6 pieces, it’s definitely not worth the price. The bento box was pretty good! It came with miso soup, Japanese side salad, 6 pieces of sashimi (3 salmon, 3 tuna), 3 pieces nigiri (shrimp, salmon, tuna) a bunch of tempura (shrimp/veggies) and then a tiny bit or rice and the chicken teriyaki itself. Everything in the bento box was delicious!
