Cafe Polonez

We ate at Cafe Polonez this week and the food was tasty and different with European flavours. Our waitperson was helpful, pleasant and efficient, making suggestions only when asked. A very pleasant evening.

I invited a friend for dinner, who wanted to explore Polish cuisine. I told her so many great things about food at Polonez. We ordered Hungiarian Pancakes with goulash, my favourite, I had many times in the past. But I was disappointed, and bit ambarassed in front of my freind. The dish was not what I remembered from few years ago. The meat was very dry and overcooked, and overall everything was very very salty. I remembre gulash meat melting in your mouth like butter, and pancakes delicious and crispy from the outside. POLONEZ IS STILL A GREAT PLACE TO DINE. And I will come again, but constructive note to the Chef, please try to keep the same quality and a good name for Polish food.

This was some of the best Polish food I've ever had. The portions were huge, the atmosphere was wonderful, and everything was well cooked. I highly recommend coming to eat here!😄

Just thinking of this restaurant tonight as I made sauerkraut and sausages as my Polish Mom used to make us . Wandering with a friend after fabric shopping on Queen St. Drove to a little fabric shop near here decided to have dinner. The lady serving us was pleasant and no waiting too long Enjoyed the delicious food.

I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. The food is so fresh and tasty. There’s no surprise why every table is full. I look forward to having café Paul cater my future special occasions and events. I really enjoyed working and communicating with Patrick. He’s been attentive communicative and very friendly through all interactions and I’m just blown away by the level of service so thank you so much for everything. Highly recommend.

The food was amazing. I ordered flaczki and it tasted homemade! The cheddar and potato perogi was so good I didn't even get a photo -- it's already in my stomach!

Pleasantly surprised at our experience dining at Cafe Polonez. Food was yummy overall and service was good. We had the 1 person platter, herring (appetiser), white borscht and kompote juice. Very filling meal.

Amazing place!! The food is so delicious, the atmosphere is completely familiar, it’s a great place to eat polish food. My favourite was the Goulash soup. And the prices are razonable.

My first Polish food experience. Pork Schnitzel w/mushrooms and the cheese&potato perogies made quite an impression. Portion was generous and the atmosphere has that family vibe. I'd love to come back and try different dishes
