Pricey and disappointing. Strawberry parfait contained dry chunks of stale cake and unimpressive blah soft serve ice cream. Costs double that of many other, better ice cream shops in the city.

Passed by this store by accident and saw so many people waiting in line, so I decided to give it a try. Got their signature Roselle Fraisier which is a strawberry shortcake. 🍰 the flavor is just amazing! Very suitable for our Asian taste - good flavor but not too sweet!
Would wanna come back for their other dessert! So glad to have such a good quality dessert downtown!

Great earl grey soft serve! Wish there were some more places to sit and enjoy.

If you’re looking to treat yourself in any way big or small, go to Roselle! Everything that they have is elevated and shows off the incredible talent and skill of the people behind the store: Steph and Bruce. Roselle is our go to for celebrations - we’ve probably tried almost everything off their menu and we keep coming back for more. We love trying their seasonal offerings and look forward to when they’ll come back when they’re gone, and Roselle’s staples are mouthwatering and scream quality. We love all their cakes and pastries, but especially the montblanc pavlova, the earl, the maple honey walnut cake slice, the black sesame hazelnut Paris Brest, and their matcha black sesame opera cake collab with Maru!
We even bulk ordered their caramels as favours for our wedding and our guests were blown away! And it’s a great way to support a local family run small business! Definitely worth checking out!!
P.S. don’t be intimidated if there is a line. It moves quickly!

I got the Earl cake for my birthday and the coffee meringue, matcha cookie, passion fruit mango shortbread and spicy cheddar shortbread. the Earl was a winner with everyone including the toddlers and it hit the right spot for me as in a big bergamot fan. It’s just a bit small so perhaps two cakes are needed for a birthday! The coffee meringue were so nice. Matcha cookie was nice but lacked the matcha taste. Passion fruit and mango short bread was nice even though I’m not a fruity bakes fan. Finally the spicy cheddar was delicious but too heavy!

Toronto is known for lines: for food, sneakers, concerts, clubs, anything free, you name it, Torontonians willingly line up for it.
I hate lining up for anything. But Roselle is in a whole league of their own. The compromise is to go early, and often, before the line gets too long.
You can taste the difference in the quality of the products they put out. Particular favourite is their seasonal maple black walnut honey cake, which is only available early spring. This cake is truly greater than the sum of its parts. A soft, delicate crumb of a cake paired with a light yet creamy frosting, and the added texture of toasted nuts. Heaven in a slice!

GOAT tier shop. The cookies are outrageous. That double chocolate matcha is borderline and out of body experience in taste. The standard chocolate chip cookie is THAT COOKIE in Toronto.
Definitely grab their almond cookies and the earl grey slices. Must have for any visit.

Roselle was delightful. We had the soft serve there, and I particularly loved the lemon flavours mixed in with the Earl Grey soft serve. The portion is small but the taste is delicious, I enjoyed every last bite.
The Pistachio Honey Cake Cup is to die for. All of the other Cake Cups were good, but the Pistachio Honey I'd get again - the cake at the bottom was more flaky pastry and combined with the divine pistachio cream it was just wonderful.
Perhaps know what you want to order before you line up as there was a short very fast moving line, and it's just a window. We didn't have a lot of time to decide, but it all worked out as we loved the items we ordered.

Today was my very first visit to Roselle and it did not disappoint! We were so excited to try their baked goods that we completely destroyed them before sneaking in a photo of them! We tried a lemon madeleine (SO good!) Paradise cake (delightful!) and their Pandan coconut chiffon cake (Heavenly good!) Needless to say, they all tasted superior and not over the top. Such a great balance of sweetness and tartness (where it applied) and everything was light and delicate tasting. My intention for today’s visit was actually to try their soft serve however, they did not have it available yet, due to weather/seasonal conditions. I will definitely be back to try that and hopefully then, they’ll still have their Pandan Coconut slices! I highly recommend this place! One small complaint is that I wish they had seating… but hey, walk off the calories as you eat them!

Roselle is one of the best places in the city. I always make a walk up to Roselle a part of my weekend routine! The chocolate crinkle cookies, the madeleines, the cake cups, lemon tarts, and so many other items are spectacular!
