Probably the best bar in the world for the price point. You can't go wrong with anything on the Modernist menu. Incredible complex tastes, innovative, and brilliant complement of edible and cocktail. An absolute must for anybody in Toronto.

Great ambiance and service. The modernist series is definitely worth at least 1 try. The original experience offsets the price. Truly original cocktail experience. We had the Rose Gold Margarita and the Flavors of Iridescence. Second round was Coconut & Absinthe sour and Ocho Rios

What a find. We came here on a friend’s recommendation. We booked in advance and got a table for a Sunday evening. We ordered some fries and smoked olives to start with and then we had two of the signature cocktails. The Thaw and the Mojito. Needless to say, the presentation and the taste of these cocktails were on point. The GM kindly explained us not just the ingredients and the composition of each drink, but also helped us navigate the entire experience on how to sip and enjoy the drinks at their best. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Definitely a must try if you’re into cocktails.

Came and had Shay as our server, she made my mom and sisters birthday so special with her suggestions of the Spring Thaw cocktail and brought out a birthday surprise called an Alginate as a birthday surprise!! will definitely be coming back and we all agreed that we only want Shay to serve us! Perfect dim light for the ambience. The cocktail modernist series come with great surprise, but it’s either a hit or miss depends on what u choose. Given the price, probably it’s only suitable for special occasions.

If you're looking for an over the top cocktail on steroids, this is the right place. The elaborate cocktails are wonderful to look at before you take a sip. Each one has a different theme and they have beautiful aromas associated with them.

Crafted cocktails does not begin to describe BarChef. If you want to drink a work of art, get a seat at this spot. The service is stellar and you truly get what you pay for with their high end cocktails.

I had a pleasure to visit bar Chef last night. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, very vibrant and I loved the real candles and natural smells. We ordered cocktails form a special menu with cool presentation. I got an pina colada and it was the best pina colada I had in my entire life. Very smooth, very tropical, and I live the way of making this cocktail. I learned it’s takes 24 hours. Only one suggestion I have it’s to server speaks a bit slower when explaining background information about cocktail. Thank you Bar Chef for amazing and unique experience!

Very beautiful and unique presentation of cocktails. Also very tasty and beautiful presentation of the small appetizers.
