Cactus Club Cafe

We were a bit intimidated when entering by the smart looking hosts at the door. I thought we needed to reserve a table and dress smart, as there was an air of elitism which us tourists were intimidated by. But we were warmly welcomed and served without discomfort or prejudice. The food was good and so were the portions. Definitely a spot to dine at if you’re in the area.

Went for their summerlicious set menu, they were able to accommodate us at the bar. Food was delicious and the service was timely and bartenders were friendly and polite !

Our waitress was super nice and on top of everything. She even brought out a dessert (on the house) for my partner's birthday. Food was on point too! I've been there a couple of times but was my first time on the rooftop and the atmosphere was 💯!

Came here for dinner with 3 others. I believe at one point Cactus Club had Chef Rob Feenie's influence and so in my mind this place is shelved in the higher-quality section. Dining areas have splendid lighting architecture and we were promptly and courteously received by staff who quickly seated us. The waiting area had nice artwork and was pleasant to hover around while waiting for the seat. Inside the tables are nice, they're quite spaced apart so even though the place was packed, I didn't perceieve it as noisy. Server was excellent and courteous. For starters, crab cakes, and we each had an entree. No desserts. Service was quick. However the kitchen forgot one of our entrees and management waived it off the bill. The price isn't a big deal, but for a place of this tier to forget an order is somewhat inexcusable. In any case, I give 5 stars for service because management was honest about the mistake and apologized profusely, and the replacement entree was excellent. Food was overall of excellent quality and punched above its price tier. All in all an excellent place to dine. Shopping around at CF Sherway and finishing off at Cactus Club is something.

Visited Cactus Club Cafe on King Street West with my guests and had a delightful experience. The Szechuan Lettuce Wrap was bursting with flavor and made for a perfect starter. The Hot Chicken + Pickles had just the right amount of spice, and the Cajun Chicken Sandwich was juicy and flavorful. Our drinks were equally impressive: the beer was refreshing, the Margarita was perfectly balanced, and the cocktail was expertly crafted. The ambiance of the restaurant was vibrant and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends. Special thanks to Venesa, who took excellent care of us, ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable and memorable. Her attentive service added a personal touch that we appreciated. However, there were a couple of minor issues. The pressure of the tap in the washroom was too strong and could use some calibration. Additionally, the toilet paper ran out during our visit. These small inconveniences aside, it was a fantastic evening overall. A solid 4-star experience!

Commendable food and service. The drinks were exceptionally good, especially the bellini! The place is extremely crowded and the wait time is long to get a table.

The butternut squash ravioli with prawns is a must order if it is your first time. Amazing service and ambiance. The real wow factor is the New York cheesecake. I HATE cheesecake, and this was one I really enjoyed. Keep in mind that it is a professional dining hotspot which means that reservations are necessary even for weekday lunches.

Michael was fantastic server! Kind and helpful and quick! Loved the atmosphere. Make sure to book reservation on their website for quicker service. The Baja Fish tacos were delicious and loved all the flavors. Our son loved his steak. Typical hamburger but still good.
