Tokyo Sushi

My first visit was delightful. The staff were very friendly, and the food was impeccable. I look forward to enjoying their culinary service again next time.

I came for the lunch specials and ordered a Deluxe lunch. It was a good portion of food for the price ($30). However, wasn’t a fan of the tuna (didn’t taste super fresh) which made up half of the meal. They also only gave me soup with no salad… The other items on the menu may be better, but I prefer other sushi spots based on this meal.

Tokyo sushi had an excellent selection of food. Their sushi was amazing as well as their bento box. The service was prompt and attentive. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely restaurant where me and my partner really enjoyed eating at. The owner was incredibly kind and sweet, and the food was delicious! This will be a regular place for us to eat at from now on.

As lovely as the staff is here, the sushi was really bad. Was very busy on a Wednesday night, waited almost an hour to get my order. The spicy salmon didn’t taste good and the avocado was hard. The tempura in the dynamite roll tasted so bad I spit it out. The ginger was old. Not worth the prices they’re charging. An unexpectedly disappointing visit to say the least.

We always come here for the salmon don, it is reasonably priced and consistently high quality and delicious. Our favourite sushi spot in Toronto.

What a wonderful lunch at Tokyo Sushi. Not only is their maki and don beyond delicious but their service is amazing. We came for off peak lunch with 2 kids and they went way above and beyond

Found this place near my work and decided to try it out based on reviews. I had the salmon don and wow, they give you a generous portion of fish. For the price, the quality of the fish was pretty good (and I’m known as a sushi snob). The staff were super friendly to all customers. Definitely will make this one of my frequent places for lunch or dinner. The space is big and they have outdoor seating. Restaurant is located on a side street so it has some privacy from the busyness of Yonge Street.

Would have given 5 stars but last visit the sashimi was not fresh as usual, was slightly disappointing. I think this was a one time issue perhaps so by all means give this place a shot! Excellent service, attentive staff and engaged owners who value a quality experience.
