This is the first pizza place in Canada that has the authentic Italian taste. Since, i moved to Canada from Italy, i always craved for the taste of Italian pizza and in search of that taste i tried many pizza places but never got the exact taste. But, this place has my heart now. I would rate this place 10/10 as other than pizza their desert options are also great and perfect to satisfy your sweet late night cravings.

I don’t understand how this Pizza is flying under the radar. Joe works the dough and the oven like an artist. Meticulous even in his packing of slices and folding the packaging. The Pizza is superb. Full of flavour in each ingredient. Thin, but not floppy, plenty of cheese and toppings. And it looks equally delicious

Mediocre pizza. We ordered a margherita and pepperoni. The crust was nice and chewy with an initial crisp and a lot of flavour. The pizza toppings on the other hand left much to be desired. The sauce was good but not great, the margherita had way too much cheese on it and it's salty grated mozarella not milky fior di latte, a classic margherita only has blobs of fior di latte, so you get bites with a good ratio of sweet milky cheese to sauce. The pepperoni was not good. The peps are put on at the end so you don't get the crispy edge on them that brings out their umami and adds texture that enlivens softness of the cheese, they are sitting on top of a margherita base wilting sadly into the cheese. Will not be back.

Delicious pizza. Great service. Staff super friendly. Amazing experience. They have SanPellegrino chinotto from Italy (it’s my favorite) and the pizza un the picture is the nduja (specialty from Calabria). The combination of the all ingredients make the pizza unique in its flavor.

Saw this place at Dundas West Fest and decided to grab a slice. I have to say, this pizza was delicious!! The crust, sauce, and cheese were all perfect. Can’t wait to try it again.

This is favourite pizza place. I am coeliac and this is the best gluten free pizza in the city! This is a family run business and everyone who works here are so friendly and welcoming. I would 100% recommend

I usually don’t write reviews like this but I found it compelling. I ordered a Sicilian arancini, margherita arancini and a margherita pizza. The Sicilian arancini was supposed to have peas and ground beef but it had only a blob of cheese in the middle. The margherita pizza was shaped more like a trapezoid than a circle. The dough in the pizza was also bit hard and dry. The pizza was also drenched with oil and didn’t look like how it was advertised in the photos. But the ingredients in the pizza and arancini were fresh and the recipes tasted really good especially with the tomato sauce and creamy garlic sauce. I feel like this place has potential to be great if only the execution and attention to detail were there. It’s almost as if the owner created the recipes and opened the restaurant just to have the current staff sell it short by not running the place correctly.

The first thing that drew us to Slow South is that they long proof their dough for 72 hours! Secondly, the turnaround time for orders is very quick so no long waits. Lastly, and most importantly, the pizzas are very tasty with quite a few non-standard options. If you like spicy, I recommend the N'Duja, but you can't go wrong with any of the options. I would also say they have the city's BEST meatball sandwich! Instead of a kaiser bun, they use the pizza dough; the meatballs are dense so no filler; it's loaded with the perfect blend of ingredients that compliment each other excellently; the hot pepper version isn't spicy but adds a wonderful amount of underlying heat; and it's messy, which somehow adds to the whole experience. I actually just had one for dinner so it's fresh on my mind; it's a must-try!

I love the Calzones to go from SlowSouth. You can get rapini in it and it came with some arugula on the side which was a really nice touch. Delicious!
