Fresh On Front

Fresh has long been a favourite of mine in Toronto. Come for their fresh juices, stay for their amazing food. With a recently updated menu, there is something for everyone no matter your dietary preferences or restrictions- and they are all delicious. Pictured is the inside of this location and my new favourite, the kale salad.

Friendly staff but matcha is bad quality. It’s like drinking pure almond milk, no matcha flavor. The color is pale the container was open so I’m sure it oxidized.

The place is great for vegetarians/vegans and they have plenty of options, will need to come back to try more stuff. We got the protein bowl and the ultimate cheeseburger. The bowl had a good amount of rice underneath the salad so it was very filling. I did expect more of the protein and less of the carb in a protein bowl at that price through. The burger was nice but the bun was a bit cold and not as tasty. Fries were great and the spicy sauce was amazing. The atmosphere is very chill and quiet enough for conversations. One thing we didn’t like was how long it took them to get us seated, take our order, prepare the order and then later to pay. We knew exactly what we wanted from the start and the place wasn’t crowded at all, but still they seemed either understaffed or seemed to have forgotten about us. It’s definitely not a place for a quick lunch if you’re in a time crunch, but great if you have a longer dining experience and don’t mind the wait.

Fresh kitchen is beyond amazing. The food was delicious. I love their salads: needs more sauce but can work with it. The service does need improvement because we were waiting quite a while to take the order and then to get the food. I work in a customer service setting so I understand the possibilities such as low staff etc... The front Street location is really well lit and feels like a home with all those mirrors. I have been there three times thus far and each time feels like a new experience. I love it. I support veganism and not much of eating outside. The food has amazing recipes to cook and learn from home. Keep up the amazing work. Proud to be vegan!!!!

As a Vegan, sometimes it is challenging to find restaurants where my non-vegan husband and I can enjoy a meal together. Happily, everything about this restaurant worked well for both of us. The puffed quinoa onion rings with garlic mayo for dipping were a delicious surprise. My husband’s burger with fixings was so satisfying he really enjoyed it. I had the watermelon poke bowl that seemed to me everyone‘a favorite! With wine and sparkling water, we sadly didn’t have room for dessert. Truly a restaurant that can satisfy all tastes.

Really good vegetarian/vegan spot. They have an awesome happy hour menu that’s great for sharing - $8 food, $5 smoothie. Excellent smoothies. Service is always friendly.

This place is all plant based which was amazing. The food was very tasty. We tried the Spicy Cauliflower tacos and Power bowl, both were delicious and 100% recommended. Their Chocolate cake was both vegan and gluten free. The 24K carrot juice was so refreshing in Toronto’s heat. Would definitely go here again when in Toronto.

Kayla is absolutely wonderful! So attentive and provided incredible service. The food was delish and the atmosphere was so lovely.

Loved everything. The dumplings were my favourite!!!!!! The staff was very nice. Cute interior and the bathroom was v nice too:)
