Cauldron Ice Cream

Absolutely loved it. Legendary ice cream. Have tried the cauldron ice cream and it was amazing. The store also looks very cool and modern. They make the ice cream basically in front of you and the guy working there is also very nice! Really recommend!

It's a shame you can't sample the flavours since some of the unique ones I would probably want to try first before diving in. But my smores icecream in an original puffle was absolutely delicious. Other downside though is the puffle is served warm which means by the time you get to the bottom it's a bit of a soggy mess. I might opt for a cone or cup in future but I had to try the puffle for the novelty.

Tasty ice cream... need to be a little patient because each serving is made to order, it can take a while to get served.

Very good Earl Grey ice cream with a cool dry ice process that gives you a show while you wait. Delicious waffle style cones are also an option. Selection is very slim, you basically get vanilla, chocolate, Earl Grey, or vanilla with toppings. They sell out of stuff a lot too.

Very smooth and milky nitrogen ice cream that comes with different delicious flavours. While I love the bubble waffle cones, the churro cone is not as good—need to be hotter and crisper—right now it just looks and taste like bubble waffle with sugar on it. Also appreciate that they create the Rose patten on the ice cream even if you only get it in a cup. The only downside? The price.

I got the earl gray lavender rose puffle waffle and it was SO GOOD. It had balanced flavors so you could definitely taste the lavender and it was drizzled with a little honey(?), which is something I usually put in my tea so I thought that was a nice touch. It was also really fun just to watch the worker make the rose.

I tried the milk tea ice cream and the cauldron, which is a cinnamon ice cream with oreo dust. My favourite of the two was the cinnamon one. Definitely recommend. The flower details are a nice touch that I think makes it a little more special and the service was good. I'd go there again.

Very cute, clean, modern interior with a cool looking Nitro line setup to run through to the prep area where they make the ice cream which is viewable behind glass. I waited at the counter for over 5 minutes before a friendly lady took my order, for 2x Puffle waffles with a scoop of ice cream it was $19.95. I waited... And waited and out came one ice cream which was pretty but came without the topping ad the photo showed, and then I waited some more... Finally about 5 minutes later our 2nd cream was ready (however my first one was already melting through the cone). Now for the taste... I ordered my husband the Cauldron in a Puffle, he really liked it and said the ice cream had a unique flavor and he liked the waffle. I found my Sum Moon and Stars to be very minimal in flavor, almost to the point where I was eating cream with a hint of tea flavor. I also thought the waffle was a little eggy tasting for my liking. This place is cute and has potential, but prices are high for a new ice cream place going into a Canadian winter, and Nitro ice cream trend is slowly fizzling out. They really need to work on their order speed, because ice cream melts. Nice try.

Great experience! So much fun to watch your ice cream being made right in front of you! The staff is so friendly. It is clear that they can really connect with their customers and enjoy making small talk. The ice cream was delicious with pleasently unusual flavors. Tip: visit early for a full flavor selection. The premixed flavors are made in small batches the day before, so when they sell out, they are out for the day.

It's a cute little stylish ice cream joint, but style over substance is true in this case. The nitrogen ice cream craze has been around for a while now and it is fun to see the ice cream being churned. However, there's no ice cream churning to be seen when I visited. It's fine because honestly we don't usually see how ice cream being made. While the place is cute and clean and the service is warm and welcoming, the real problem lies in the ice cream! I had the sun star and moon (simply put, tea flavored ice cream) the flavor just wasn't very prominent. To top it off, the color was a dull grayish blue which was a bit off putting. The presentation was great, there just wasn't enough taste for the ice cream. There were small chunks of ice crystal in the ice cream, probably due to it's a pre made batch. On the positive side, it was a very generous scoop so you will definitely get some satisfaction out of it.
