I was unable to make an online reservation and received an error message. Your staff were very helpful and got us in on the patio no less. The food and drinks are superb, as always.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here, and I must say, this place offered a perfect evening experience. The service was very enthusiastic, although the environment was a bit noisy, making conversation slightly difficult. However, the atmosphere was fantastic, capturing the unique romantic and laid-back vibe of a French bistro. Scallops & Potatoes ($22): This dish was savory and perfect as a pairing with drinks. The scallops were fresh and flavorful, and the potatoes were soft and mushy. With the sauce, I felt like I could have half a bottle of white wine with this dish, too bad I’m abstaining from alcohol. Steak Tartare ($24): Prepared in the classic French style, the taste was mild but enriched with hot sauce, adding a rich texture paired with crispy bread. The waiter highly recommended this dish, but I found it just average, perhaps because I expected more from a restaurant that claims to be the best French eatery in Toronto. Koji-Aged Heritage Pork ($32): The pork had a lot of fat, which I didn’t eat, but the seasoning was good. If you don’t like fatty pork, you might want to skip this dish. Half Duck ($45): The duck was delicious with crispy skin and tender legs. It was flavorful without any overpowering spices, and there was no off-putting smell, just the pure taste of duck. In this restaurant, you could skip everything else but do try the duck. Buttermilk Ice-Cream ($14): I’m not sure if the ice cream was homemade, but it wasn’t overly sweet, complemented well by the sauce and cookies, making it really tasty and refreshing. Overall, I really liked this restaurant for its warm service and high-quality food. The dishes were served a bit slowly, which truly gave the feeling of dining at a French restaurant.

There's a reason this place is popular! The food was very good, presentation was in point and nothing missed the mark. The cocktails were fabulous and Roy who took care of us was amazing! The vibe is great for any occasion. 10/10

There isn’t one item that we didn’t like! From the Roquefort and lettuce, the duck to the brown sugar brioche, an absolute delight. Coming to a French man that really enjoyed the place Coming back for sure!

Intentions of being a regular here ended today (3rd time here). I brought friends here and often recommended this place to friends. Came here today with a guy friend and decided to order a whole duck and an appetizer because we wanted to eat it quickly and get cocktails somewhere else. Dave being our server, put our order down as half of a duck, and once I brought it up, he said don’t worry, I will bring the other half, and only charge you for the whole duck. What does this supposed to mean Dave? Are you not supposed to? Later on, my friend and I were finishing the other half of the duck, Dave came by and asked us are we done with the duck while clearly it was half full… and added the comment “that’s the best part” and left. What do you really mean? Dave.

We went there randomly, but ended up discovering that this place is INSANE! The service is immaculate, the staff are amazing, kind, and very knowledgeable! The quality of food and drinks are top-notch! The barista put so much love and effort into the cocktails! Not to mention that I finally served the beer as it should be, in an ice cold glass! Overal, WOW!!!

4.5/5 One of the best French place in Toronto for a reasonable price. The interior is pretty and not so small. Nice patio as well. They have the windows open so there was a bunch of flies. Not so pleasant. A good variety of wine selection as it should be for a French place. Reasonably priced. Steak tartare - perfect acidity, not too much sauce, as good as Cote debeouf Cabbage - cabbage and mussels harmony was lovely. Good grilling on cabbage. Creamy sauce Scallops - only 2 scallops and potatos. Good but not impressive Duck - tender legs, medium well breast. If the breast was undercooked a bit, would have been much better. Green beans - good texture, sauce and nuts Overall very good but none of the servers asked how the dishes were. Service could be improved.

Bright, modern and laidback restaurant serving a great collection of cocktails and dishes. Ordered the seafood sampler and found everything fresh and flavourful. Nice interior with a great patio as well for the warmer months. Definitely recommend

I went here for the first time the other evening and was served (and unwittingly ate a bit of) raw chicken. After realizing the chicken was raw (I'm talking fully uncooked-- not just a little pink), I pointed it out to the server who brought it back to the chef and confirmed the chicken was not cooked. They offered a replacement dish, though at that point my appetite was kind of ruined. Me and the people I was with didn't make too much of a fuss about the chicken as we have all worked in restaurants before, and mistakes do happen (though in fairness, for a restaurant this expensive, it's a pretty bad mistake). What really shocked me though is that they only comped the chicken and not the replacement dishes or anything else for that matter. It felt like they were taking advantage of our goodwill and relaxed attitude about it. I ate raw chicken, man. Since I wasn't paying (it was my birthday and I was very kindly being treated by the people I was there with), I didn't say anything when they brought the bill. But man, I'll never go back. I felt sick later that evening. But at least the chicken that made me ill was free????
