Boku Noodle Bar

I was excited to try this place out and unfortunately was disappointed. I ordered the gyoza and spicy ramen. The ramen was mid - not very tasty but not bad. Definitely could have been better. Gyoza was pretty good. I initially ordered the beef udon because of all the reviews here recommending it but they said it wasn’t available for the day. The biggest impact for me was honestly the service. I dined alone and I felt very insignificant. I was seated by the window. Shortly after a large group came and they asked to move me even though it wasn’t necessary. I wouldn’t have minded but the group put a stop to it thankfully. They did not give me any water initially like they did other tables. It took so long for anyone to notice me. It felt like they just forgot me. I was waiting for over 25mins for someone to just come and serve me. Thankfully the group beside me intervened on my behalf when the server came to them again and called out that I was here before them and should be served first. So that was how I finish got to order food. I had a similar issue just trying to pay the bill and be on my way. I think maybe they might be short-staffed. Either way, I cannot recommend this place :(

Ignored at the front to be seated. Actually had to walk in and ask to be seated. Katsu was overcooked, rice was dry and hard. Gluten free noodles means konjac noodles which is a very distinct texture that doesn't go with ramen. Weird and hot inside on a imbalanced table. Waitresses pouring sweat.

I had a very pleasant experience in this restaurant. The food was tasty and portions were decent. I kindly recommend this place for those who loves Japanese food, don’t want to overpay, looking for a nice atmosphere while dining and chatting.

Arrived with three friends and ordered a variety of dishes: katsu chicken curry udon for myself, and unagi don, salmon don, and braised beef udon for the others. After sampling each other's meals, we agreed that the unagi and salmon don were the winners. Unfortunately, the katsu chicken was slightly dry and the curry taste could be stronger. The presentation of the beef udon felt a bit out of place. We did enjoy the outdoor ambiance very much. Service was ok but we did a while for water.

Honestly do not rate this place. Most of the sake shooters tasted bad, the tuna steak had a bitter taste to it and the ramen was under seasoned. It was passable enough to finish the meal but would not come back here again. Definition of mediocre.

Love the Japanese curry with katsu chicken!! It’s 10/10, and we asked for extra curry too which made it even more delicious!! The hot tea comes in a cute little teapot 🫖

The service was amazing! Our server was so so nice. The food was SO delicious, probably some of the best traditional Japanese food we have ever had. We ordered two flights of sake + the chicken katsu udon + the poke bowl. We would highly recommend ordering the chicken katsu udon because it was so special and unlike anything we have tried before! 10/10 place! I would also recommend ordering from the signature dishes.

Got the Katsu Curry Udon and Japanese Curry with Chicken, both were absolutely delicious and very flavorful! Would totally get it again! The only thing that would have been better was more curry in both dishes!

super cute place, didn’t get to try much of their food but i felt that their ramen lacked in flavour, however, their salmon tartare which came with taro chips was amazing! staff were quite inattentive although the restaurant was quite empty

Had the sake flight and unagi don, and it was all very tasteful! Great atmosphere, and kind servers, will definitely come again!
