Seven Lives Tacos Y Mariscos

I've had my fair share of disappointing tacos in this city. Everywhere is usually either bland or ridiculously small and overpriced. This was the first place in the city where the filling where actually falling out and it was very tasty and packed with flavor. All the tacos we got were excellent but the baja fish and carnitas were another level. I can't recommend this place enough. Initially I was surprised by the pricing and ordered my usually 3 tacos but was very full afterwards.

Chicken taste was not really good , sea food much better, the taco bread / nachos not really good too . From my point of view you could have much better tacos with higher quality & services with almost same price or little bit higher in different location. But as a kind of street food is acceptable for one time try.

Nestled in the heart of Kensington Market this is a must visit if you are looking to try a decent taco. There are definitely better ones in the city but this isn’t too shabby for $7. I went with the Chicken Taco and it was pretty decent. But I reckon, the chicken could have been generously seasoned. If you are looking for a sit down place with tables and chairs then this might not be the best place. Having said that, there are plenty tables to wait/stand at and finish your taco ;) Customer service is average so overall I would rate my experience 8/10!

Found this small local spot when looking for local tacos! Walking in, the place was busy. It's standing room only with tables, but honestly, it worked for the type of volume they do here. I went with a spicy shrimp taco and carnitas. First, I want to point out excellent portions. You will not leave here hungry, that's for sure. The shrimp taco was tasty and had a kick, but sour cream to cool it down. Loved it! The carnitas were simple with cilantro and onion. Nice flavor on the meat. Would definitely come back here when I'm back in Toronto!

Didn’t realize it was a seafood specialized taco place until I got there! Regardless, it was very good. No picture but ceviche was very tasty too. Can’t wait to try octopus next time.

Love the Baja fish and smoked tuna taco! The meat is so juicy and fresh although the taco is a bit too thick since there are two layers.

I was recommended this place from a friend to try out their shrimp and fish tacos and I have to say it's amazing I keep coming back. The staff are really amazing. The place is very clean along with their bathrooms.

The tacos are good… The site a little dirty… I give them 5 stars is because the food is delicious!!!!!!

Seven Lives is easily one of the best taco places I've ever been to. I'm a big fan of fish and al pastor tacos and Seven Lives did not disappoint. The food came out quick and we ate while standing at one of the booths. There was complementary salsa near the register as well as wet wipes (a plus in my book). The fish taco was cooked to perfection, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Paired with their tomato topping, this taco had the power to change my life. I followed up with an order of Al Pastor, which provided a more bold flavor profile to contrast with the airy fish taco. With the vibrant atmosphere and delicious tacos, you will be leaving wishing you had stayed and ordered another one. I highly recommend.
