Great all you can eat Japanese grill spot at a good price. The seasonal items for summer were all on point, and the 2 hour limit is more than enough to get satisfied and squeeze in some dessert. If you pay cash they give a discount and only Canadian debit cards are taken. There is a cash machine on site though so it's not a hassle. Quality of meat is excellent - I especially enjoyed the miso marinated beef, bibimpap and chicken cartilage.

Overall 4 to 5 stars BUT they recently advertised taro ice cream at this location; when we went yesterday, it was just a tiny vanilla ice cream (very watery). We asked when they would have taro again and we were told they don't know, sometimes they have it sometimes they don't. ??? Doesn't really make sense to me that they would advertise that it's available then... We got tricked. It especially sucks since my friends from Windsor came here specifically to try the taro ice cream.

I came here with a party of 4 on a Friday night. Putting your name on the Waitlist online is an absolute must if you don’t want to eat at 10pm. We were planning to eat around 7 so monitored the Waitlist and ended up putting our name down at 5:30 - got seated around 7. Only thing is you kinda need to be nearby. Food is top quality and flavorful and cooking the meat at the table is always fun. Great and friendly service

Absolutely phenomenal. From the impeccable service to the high quality meat. You can’t go wrong with Gyubee. It isn’t cheap. But this is very much a case of you get what you paid for. This is as good as AYCE gets. Highly recommended.

We always go back because it is so good and we always crave the miso marinated meats! We usually just go for the lunch menu. Service is great too!

Walked in on a friday evening and lucky to get seated after 30 minutes when we’re told that the wait time was 1.5 hr. Good variety of food. The kalbi beef, takoyaki, and the creme brulé were really delicious. BUT the seating is small and there was no privacy because servers keep passing by. Limited seating of 2 hours but we felt so rushed. Our server kept coming back and it was annoying when you're trying to enjoy the food and talk to your friend, and get interrupted by the server every 15 minutes. We spent 1 hr and 30 minutes and billed out because it feels like they're trying to kick us out when there’s only few people waiting outside. Overall, the food is great but customer service could have been better.

Tasty Japanese bbq ! Went with a large group from work for a «BBQ night» and had a wonderful time. The team at Gyubee helped to secure 3-large tables for our group, helping to keep us together and close by. The food was fresh and delicious, a great variety for a group with different tastes. Great for a large group, a hard find for team activities / food !

Always delicious and very consistent excellent customer service at every location! The beef selection is my favourite and the miso marinated steak is the BEST option. Never gotten sick here and I've been to locations across Ontario (not that hard to cook the meat properly) 😊

i visited 3 japanese grills in downtown and this one is by far the best! the only con is that the place is quite small and it gets busy really fast. besides that, i suggest you try the kalbi and miso beef. you won’t regret!

Great amount of space fitting a table of 8 adults and 2 kids not much privacy. We did have RSVP for table larger than 6. Also having to be at the location within the 10 mins of your RSVP. Careful as they do measure kids height to consider a child or as an adult. Found this location better than the one on Dundas. All the meats were seasoned well as none of them tasted similar to the point you got tried of generic taste continue to different dishes/meats. The service was fast and all the servers were very polite. I would come back to this location again.
