Food was very mediocre. Beef and pork were not fresh. Fish was ok. Enjoyed only the steamed chive and shrimp dumplings. The servers were friendly, but on server with glasses brought up food (sushi) with dirty dishes that he collected from other table. Very gross!

Our first time at August 8 on Spadina Ave. The food was fresh, hot, tasty and served with speed and care. All the wait staff( 4) served as I total were helpful and congenial. Visit August 8 in China town once and I know you will go again and again.We walked,to the location.Wait staff did ask about allergies. Washroom is downstairs and very clean. Wish you success August 8.💯✌️

Really high quality all you can eat sushi with very fast service. Be aware that as soon as you sit down, you have 90min before your service ends so make the most of it! There is also a wagyu beef option, but only limited to one order per person. Overall a great meal! PS: They accept discounts, but you need a valid student ID and cash.

Went here for lunch. Foods were good and tasty but they were pretty salty and probably loaded with MSG. I was looking forward to eat the Tacos but it wasn’t for me. Chicken wings and August 8 Fried rice were the top ones for us.

The servers are very attentive and provided great customer service, refilled our drinks without being asked. The food especially the salmon sashimi was very high quality and tasted really good. We’ll be coming back for sure.

Very fast and friendly service. Decent price, given this is in downtown Toronto. Most of the menu options taste amazing, there were only a couple of things we didn’t like: the salmon/avocado hand roll and the “waygu” steak. Some of the items we ordered didn’t come and we had to order again, but given the fast service, this wasn’t too much of an issue. I would highly recommend coming here for your all-you-can-eat sushi cravings!

Drove all the way downtown because this was the latest all you can eat restaurant open. With a last call at 11:30pm, we came around 9 on a Saturday night as a group of 3 and were seated quickly. Staff members are very alert of the tables and make sure you feel seen. Food was better than I expected. One dish that really stood out to me was the taco, really good flavours and portions - but I did order it a second time and was a little bit disappointed, portion was about half the size of the first one. More intimate setting than most all you can eat spots. Probably would not be the best for big groups. Great service and good food, will be back!

my go to sushi spot! staff is very attentive, food comes swiftly, location is very convenient! the food is very delicious, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

Found some hair on the food today. Manager choked it off saying maybe it's an eyelash when it's definitely longer than one. And also, found myself shooing off little flies off the food 😳. Servers were great though.
