Service and food were both absolutely incredible, obviously $100 isn't cheap for sushi but in my opinion the experience at least once is amazing. Specifically the otoro nigiri with uni was life changing. Highly recommend

Casual dining experience with exceptional food and service. Watching the sushi chef in his element, as he crafted each nigiri, was very special. He was meticulous in his work and observant of his guests’ needs. Can’t wait to go back.

I recently dined at Shunoko Omakase Restaurant in Toronto with my wife and our 7-year-old daughter, and it was fantastic. The food was excellent, with every dish tasting amazing. The prices were very reasonable for the quality. During our visit, our daughter accidentally broke a wine glass. The staff quickly made sure everything was safe and clean, so we didn't have to worry. Overall, Shunoko is a great place to eat. The food is delicious, the prices are good, and the service is excellent. We'll definitely be back!

We did an omakase dinner and the fish was extremely fresh and garnished perfectly. The pace of service was also amazing and the ice cream was the best coconut taro ice cream I’ve ever had!! Would definitely bring more friends and family

Not the best service here.. at least not as an Omakase Restaurant. The food is not the best but nice quality. Overall it seems like they don’t care about your business. After we paid with the machine, they didn’t come grab the machine back nor said anything to us or have any eye contact with us - even though the session for that time was finished. We stood there for a few minutes and still nothing, so we just walked out ourselves. FYI, tips % starts from 18% and higher, which also doesn’t make sense as it was already priced at $100+ per person BECAUSE it is Omakase. No interaction from the chef either.

Small clean restaurant, 10 seats at chef’s counter with extra seating around the shop. $100 omakase for 17 courses was great value. Really enjoyed most of the courses, especially the sashimi platter and otoro nigiri. The veggie handroll was bland and unimpressive, could be improved with added fish or protein.

One of the best value Omakase offerings in the city. Interesting, a few uncommon and fresh ingredients from Japanese and European waters were used for the Sushi Neta. Very friendly and informative sushi chef and lady server. The 'all fish' routine, with very similar dressing, tends to become a bit monotonous after the first 6-7 pieces. The use of other forms of seafood.....shellfish, crustaceans...etc to break up the routine should add more enjoyment. The use of truffle oil in a few toppings tends to be ' hot or miss '.....for me, the pungent aroma was a bit too overwhelming! Wines chosen for the pairing was interesting but not totally compatible. IMO, Sake is a better pairing choice!

I had the omekase dinner with my friend. My favourite sashimi was the kurodai (seabream). The hirame (olive flounder) sushi was also very refreshing and tasty. Service was decent. I appreciate that the server moved us from the table to the bar even though I booked the wrong table setting by mistake. We had a very nice experience and will come back again ❤️

Nice sushi and services. 17courses, I love tartare tuna and oturo with urchin. $100 pp for dinner, worth it!
