I am really sad to see this place close, I wish I knew why. Without a doubt the best food I've ever had was served here. Never had anything off the menu that I didn't like! The owner Eric, and his staff were always welcoming and extremely helpful. Lots of good times at this place, it will be missed

If you’re permanently closing the store, you should post a sign also in English on the front door and ensure you notify other food ordering apps of the same. The sign is only in Chinese characters. Food was good, but poor way to end it all.

I am heartbroken that Lars is closing. I'll miss you guys and your amazing delicious food more than words can express. :'(

We were one of two groups at the restaurant, so the service was quick. Lots of varieties of dishes to choose from. The decor seemed a bit grungy and not well maintained. Considering this is a Chinese place in Newmarket, it does the trick if you’re craving northern BBQ in the area.

First time ordering from here. Tried the spicy beef noodle soup, wings, house special fried noodles, eggplant, and Szechuan beef. When we got the order, a couple of the bowls were leaking. It was not fully sealed. The beef soup was very good and actually spicy. The house special noodles was also a hit. We were not a fan of the eggplant or Szechuan beef..

Good flavor, and the price is reasonable as well. Surprised that there's no wait time at 8pm on a Friday night. Maybe it's the weather.

Awesome food. Love trying a bunch of their BBQ items. Garlic broccolli is to DIE for. Sweet and sour pork as well. Staff is awesome. Remember you. Feels like friends.

Nice decor & vibes. Spacious & clean. Good customer service. The young male server was friendly & polite. Food served hot and fast. Delicious lamb, beef and pork belly skewers. Tried their seafood shrimp & clam tray and it tasted good but quite oily. The bbq rice cake skewers were quite tasty with sugar coated. They tasted sweet and chewy. The house Lar’s fried rice tasted pretty good but barely found any scallops in it. Will come back to try other items on menu.

Food is Meh. The same exact species used in every single BBQ dish, buns, chips? Oh and don’t ask for extra forks, glassware, or anything that makes them have to walk to your table. They hate that and will make sure you know it.

Went during the afternoon for a late lunch with my parents and husband. Bit of a learning curve ordering with your phone, depending on your technological know-how, but wow is it worth the bit of scrolling and tapping. Literally some of the best food I've ever had in this town, and wonderfully fast and friendly service. Will be back with bells on!
