Amazing Lebanese food. Lunch Combo - 10 Cad: fries +  Chicken Shawerma Sandwich + pop.

Really nice food with lots of choices, I liked the lamb pita. The seasoning and soup that it had were great. I’m a bit sceptical of the halal rating. Staff assured us it was halal, but they have a ham sandwich... they then said everything is halal except that pork sandwich (it wasn’t halal beef ‘ham’). Seems strange to be halal with a huge menu and one random pork item. The location isn’t right at all for this cafe, it seems dead on a weekend afternoon. If it was nearer to the mall or downtown it would do really well.

I went to Beiruiti with a friend a couple of weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised by the modern decor. At first it was a bit confusing as you enter on the 'cafeteria' side of the restaurant, which is a walk up counter. We didn't see any of the items that we'd seen on the online menu. After looking around we saw the restaurant and headed over there. The entire restaurant was empty, so we assumed it was more of a lunch venue during the week. It was one of those crazy humid days and it was very warm and muggy in the restaurant. The service was impeccable, two older gentlemen and a young lady served us. They were definitely intent on making us happy. Our meal was good, we both ordered the Pris Fixe menu. We shared a plate with an assortment of dips, skewered chicken and salad and the vegetarian option because i wanted to try their roasted cauliflower. It was fresh and tasty. The chicken was tender. The cauliflower was OK but lacked seasoning. Neither of us care for baba ganoush, so when the server came to collect our plates and saw that we hadn't eaten it, he bought us another dip with more fresh pita. He gave us complimentary coffee too. We would have had a perfect evening if it hadn't been for two things: The uncomfortable temperature was one and the seating was another, my friend and I were just not comfortable enough to sit for a long time - the table to chair height wasn't quite right and though the chairs looked lovely - they were only really 30 minute chairs and though we would have loved to have stayed and enjoyed the half price bottle of wine that was offered to us, we just wanted to eat and get out of there. This is a lovely family business, their children/grandchildren were running around playing and the owners are delightful. I recommend it to anyone on a cooler day.

It's the long weekend, my boyfriend and I thought we try something new. The staff was super friendly and the meal was delicious. We got dessert to go! Macaroons to say the least they didn't even make it the drive home. Recommend this place. Rated highly on Trip Advisor and BlogTo. :D

Be prepared to wait ridiculous times for a simple order (in my case, a slice of cake and a can of coke) and deal with incompetent staff who have no sense of organization or customer service. And this is when there are only a handful of customers in the cafe. I can’t imagine what it would be like when it’s busy. Plus there is nothing Lebanese about this place especially with the cold warehouse style decor.

Very nice wrap, the flavour is good and I enjoy the pressed wrap as it gives a slight crunch. I went as part of a big group for lunch and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

Perfect spot for any occasions. Food, pastries, gelato and coffee are great and I have tried them all. Congratulations to its management, it's a very well driven cafe. Am a bit confused reading some people's review that score a cafe based on a parking ticket they have received, lol ... Anyways I loved this location.

Terrible experience. The staff was borderline rude. You have to order at the counter and then wait for the waiters to bring food. They took over an hour to prepare a burger for my friend and over 20 mins to get me a hot chocolate and a slice of khunafa. My khunafa was definitely not authentic and had mozzarella cheese on it which was awful. Real khunafa has a soft Lebanese cheese in it. I was disappointed at how unauthentic it was. Never going there again!

First time at Beiruti, they have very interesting dishes. I tried the Mediterranean crêpes which was very good after I added hot sauce, it came with a carrot soup which was quite bland for my taste. I also tried the pistachio desert which was delicious. Service wasn't great but they had a big group and my friend who's been there many times says the service is usually excellent. I would absolutely go back to try some more dishes.
