Usually the food is great. But yesterday during dim sum they refried some of the food and it came out super greasy and over cooked. The picking duck is awesome here

I ate here almost 3 years ago and it was so good I haven't forgotten about it. It's late to review but the duck was a million stars. I have never had duck like that before and I've been wanting to come back for it. I hope it's still the same when I visit soon cause it's a must if you go here

Started with the hot and sour soup which was OK. The Cantonese chow mein was quite good and was a generous portion. The sizzling beef plate was tasty with good amounts of beef. Service was attentive. I believe paying cash gets you a 5% discount

Sorry this review was based on my previous dining experience in Dec 2022. It was so bad it left a strong impression on me. Probably our fault for arriving late for dim sum past 12pm. Half of the items off the cart appeared re-heated and stale, for instance, fried items turned completely dry and steamed items appeared with soggy skins. Initially thought maybe it was just bad selections at the beginning but our luck didn't improve even after 8items in.. very disappointing experience. Really want to give it a 2.

Full of old school Chinese restaurant nostalgia with hearty dishes from a wide-ranging menu. There are set meals on offer if it’s too intimidating to pick from the vast number of choices available.

If I am near this place around lunch time, it is like a magnet for me. I love Dim Sum but it has to be done well and Emerald has been at the top of my list for decades. It never disappoints! Fresh and succulent squid that's never rubbery, fried and steamed dumplings that are excellent, perfect sticky rice in lotus leaf and all of the favorites. They are high volume and still use carts to order from. Give it a try!

This place was terrible, there was no service we have to wait 20 minutes until someone comes to serve you. The atmosphere was ok, but the place was a bit dirty and floors were slippery. The food was terrible, i’ve tasted better than whatever i just had. They even charged us $7.20 for tea, how can you not have dimsum without tea?! This place is not worth your money and time not even your stomach.

Food is soso, wrappers of dumplings are so thick that you’ll be full from eating them. Some fried / baked foods have to be taken inside to be reheated (microwaved?). Not enough staff, that’s why they look so overworked during weekends. Horrible restaurant to go to during weekends, a bit better in weekdays

Great place for family dining. Love their Peaking Duck! Also the roasted pork is very nice. Fried rice is made very well lightly fried. Scallops stir fry with vegetables is really nice. Good variety of items on the menu. But my only suggestion is to add some vegetarian dishes to the menu.

BEWARE: Tips already added to bill. Be careful you don't give additional tip as servers won't point this out when you're paying. Also most dimsum dishes are bland and greasy. And some items (i.e. steamed scallops with vermicelli) are very expensive($18/ scallop) for mediocre taste and small portion
