Amazing place! Shocking to believe that it's in the city. You really do feel like you're stepping back in time. I very much recommend a visit. Plus all of the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, you can tell for that for the staff working there isn't a job, it's a passion.

Black Creek beautiful as usual. The Haunted Walk is just a cash grab. Too many activities going on at the same time ruins the experience.

A lot of fun for the whole family. The setup is great and very interactive. Just wish it would be more engaging within the rooms where would could solve puzzles that would then help you forward the story. This was more like run to different rooms grab the puzzles then start solving it. Good family fun but always room for improvement. A big shout out to all the actors, they were all fantastic really enhanced the whole experience.

Black Creek Pioneer Village collects early original buildings and man-made imitation buildings, allowing you to understand the lifestyle and customs of pioneer before.

This place is amazing, and exceeded my expectations. It really feels like you've gone back in time and are visiting a small pioneer village. I was there open to close and am already planning to go back because there is so much to see. If you are a photographer, you need to make a day of it, today I used 3 rolls of 36 exposures, 2 rolls of 120 (8 exposures each) and probably 500 digital pictures. Today I walked around solo so I could take pictures, but my next visit will be for the tours because they seem really interesting. Everything is so well preserved, and the staff were all friendly and helpful from the groundscrew to the guides, to the retail staff - one of the people gardening knew interesting facts about the buildings (including one being used by Guillermo de Toro in an upcoming film!) Every staff member I saw looked like they were having a great time and took pride in their work. You can tell they love what they do and are proud to show it off, which really heightened the visit for me. I think everyone should visit here, and the price of entry is fantastic given the amount of things to see.

Well it's like back to the past. The townhouse looks the same with a smaller height but the inside is a whole different world. Old time rocks.

A very good learning experience about early Western settler’s life in Canada. A must try visit for every Canadian to immerse themselves of Canadian culture.

Really fun and interesting place. Great gift shop too. So many great details, with great tour guides (that are at no extra cost.) You can even rent a dinner space in the basement of the hotel (The Halfway House.) Perfect for kids and adults alike!

Went on a weekend. Not a great place to visit. All old rusty dirty smelly buildings. Could be good for children if they want to see 2 horses with bent backs. Paid full day parking and went in and out in 1 hour.

Pros: Great to visit and be in historic time. Loved costumed staff and their patience. Got to know a lot of things . Pretty good collection of artefacts. Cons: Many buildings were closed and many were not having any staff to explain the things. Even some writings or audio clips would give a better idea of the things, where there is no staff. Many buildings inside were having a lot of dust, seems like not cleaned in a while. and many without lights.
