Sandwich needs oxtail gravy on the side to be good cuz the chicken dry and not enough spices… but it was alright for sure. Also the price increasing 2 dollar in less than a year

A couple of days ago, I had a disappointing experience with my curry chicken. It was very dry and had zero gravy. I posted a review expressing my disappointment. The owner of Allwyn's reached out to me right away and offered me compensation. I was so surprised, as I didnt expect that type of response, if one at all. The meals came and were absolutely delicious....just how I remember Allwyn's to be - fresh, tender, tasty and full of delicious gravy. Thank you so much Allwyn's for your amazing customer service! Got rice and peas with oxtail. The rice was tasteless and old and oxtail also had no seasoning. Season! Season! Season! Gotta try the downtown location!

Best jerk chicken I've had in years. The patty was also delicious.

Allwyns patties have a sweet taste. Heating the patties in the oven makes them very flaky.

I enjoyed the beef patties which I’ve bought multiple times before, but the jerk chicken was overly salty and pretty expensive considering the amount you get.

Their jerk chicken roti just tastes like salt... No real flavour. I couldn't finish it and I'm the type of person who always tries to finish meals... Not an F but a D-

The vegetable roti I got was the most dry and flavourless roti I’ve ever had in my life. All you can taste was raw spices but no seasoning and the chickpeas were not even cooked properly. Beyond disappointed and it was overpriced too.

I've ordered at least ten times before and loved it. Even my friend became a believer. However, when I ordered the curry goat roti for the first time on Nov 10, 2023, I got diarrhea. The food itself had burnt pieces in it like it was scraped from the bottom of a pan with old food. It didn't taste freshly burned. The lady asked us to go sit at the table and wait for the food to be prepared which I'd never been asked before.

Used to love the food here. Recently the recipe has been off and the last two visits I couldn't stomach the patty. The mild was waaaay too spicy. This happened twice in a row out due to I believe a new employee not making it correctly. I can't do spices and have allergic reactions that last about a month when my tongue encounters spice. It's a seriously uncomfortable medical condition and for this reason I cannot risk my orders being messed up here. Sucks because I loved this place when I moved here 3 years ago.
