The Bahn Mi are really good. But had a rubber band inside our sandwich. We were chewing it thinking it was meat. It was unpleasant but the sandwich still tasted delicious.

This place serves the cheapest spring rolls I've seen in the city. That being said.. they weren't very good.. but definitely edible if you're hungry and starving to death

They premake the banh mi sandwiches in advance and don't toast them. Overall authentic flavor. Lots of other great food options as well though.

Edit: Changing my rating of 4 stars to 2 stars. Went back recently to purchase a few of their refrigerated items. At the counter, I was charged an additional $7.00 for “Grocery”when I only purchased 3 meat items and 1 banh mi. The cashier had to manually punch in each individual item and I felt pressured to leave because there was an influx of customers at the time. I did not realize until I arrived home and checked the receipt which was fault on my part. I did not expect the additional charge whatsoever. Double check the receipt prior to leaving with your items.

Used to buy classic the Vietnamese sandwich for $2.00 each but now it’s $5.50 each but the taste stayed the same. 😋

In the late mid 1990's it was $2 for a large sandwich and now it's $6 and it's still a great deal, still tastes great, and remains the exact same ingredients, nothing removed, no shrinkflation or change in price for last 2 years. People serving are the same friendly people since back when. They also have ready togo cold meals, various spring rolls, and rice/meat dishes. Cash only, it's a small space, limited room to maneuver, and always a line of people ordering sandwiches. They also carry other national dishes I'm not familiar with.

One of my favourite go-to sandwiches. Good value and I like the taste. Service needs some improvement though. Also, cash only.

Crazy how little they put inside Banh mi since inflation. I use to buy these all the time and it was filled with carrots and radish now there’s no radish and a pinch of carrots, I’m eating all bread at this point.
