We found this place only because of proximity to the go train, but loved the food and friendly service. We will definitely be back. I recommend the lasagna!

This place is so under-rated. It's a little Italian restaurant that you can easily miss driving by it on lakeshore and Southdown but don't! It has amazing pizza made fresh, the lamb gnocchi is my personal favorite but they have a lot of great dishes. Oh and the service is always friendly and professional. Can't say enough about this place.

BEST RESTAURANT EVER! Mario is fabulous. Food is always perfection. Service is outstanding. They are like family. We will be doing our rehearsal dinner here because there is simply no other place.

Ordered the Spaghetti Gamberi e Rapini (Shrimp, Rapini, Cherry Tomatoes) and Gnocchi al Ragu di Agnello (Braised Lamb) for take out. Honest serving sizes and delicious taste. Very clean ingredients and well cooked dishes. Accompanying bread was a bit hard/stale tasting, would have enjoyed some more Parmesan cheese. Online prices should be updated, dishes were $4-6 more than what the menu showed.

We came to Casalinga for the first time and it wasn't very busy. We got there at a good time and watched it fill up during dinner hours. The service was quick and top notch. The Spaghetti allo Scoglio was fantastic! The owner seemed welcoming and charismatic. 5 stars

Can't go wrong with this quaint family Italian spot. It has become a staple for my family to celebrate events and have a meal together. Cant go wrong with anything, I love the seafood pasta, lamb gnocchi, you name it they do it well

Food was really good, the only item that was just okay was the pizza. Other than that, everything we ordered was delicious. We had the frittura mista, arancini, fried Calamari, Lasagna, lamb gnocchi, Spaghetti allo Scoglio, branzino and the pizza. The service was great, they were friendly and great with the kids.

This was our family’s very first time to Casalinga, we were celebrating our parents wedding anniversary and chose to visit for dinner on Saturday evening with a reservation. Our experience was genuinely wonderful and our waitress Stacey was incredible! She treated our family with such respect and kindness that my sister and I were so impressed and purely happy. Each member of my family definitely will be returning to this restaurant in the future and we will request to sit in Stacey’s area if she has space for Us! I will never forget how she treated my parents so well! Each of us at the table enjoyed our food from mains to desserts and we also had two other gentlemen of the staff walk by during our dinner and ask if we were doing okay and took time answer our questions. We finished our plates! If you visit here during a busy time, remember to be kind and patient, the staff are working very hard and doing their best. When you sit down and look around you can see other families, couples and people just enjoying their meals and it just makes you happy to support local and small businesses.
