Square Boy

A classic staple spot that's been operating from the same location since I was a kid. It's nothing fancy but for a quick satisfying meal for $10, you can't beat that compared to the golden arch which charges almost double. Bring cash and expect to wait if you go during rush hour.

The owner of this restaurant is purely rude. Has no manners. Service is garbage. Treats people terribly. Don't recommend this place. They don't even accept cards, what kind of archaic place is this? GO somewhere else.

Super retro burger joint where your burger is prepared fresh and dressed in front of you just the way you want. This place is THE best deal in the entire city for a Burger combo. $7.50 gets you a good size burger on a fresh Kaiser, French fries and a pop…add a heaping scoop of gravy to those fries and you’re still under 10 bucks after tax for the combo. Can’t be beat! This place is awesome

Hidden gem for great tasting, cheap eats, on the danforth. Had the gyro ans home made burger, both were very good, huge portions and around $8 each. Definitely going back and recommending it

You must try this place. You can't beat their pricing and freshly made menu items! I always look forward to coming here and experiencing that old school vibe this place offers.

CASH ONLY but they have an ATM inside. Good portions & price, great atmosphere and friendly service. Food was okay (not as flavourful as expected) and not the best fries but good for a quick cheap takeout.

You can't beat $6.50 for a Hamburger, french fries, and can of pop. Is it the most amazing, thick burger? No. But it certainly is tasty. Perhaps even more impressive was the amount of meat in the gyro pita. $6.65 and it was loaded. Will happily eat at Square Boy again.

This restaurant is not access able to anyone using a mobile y devices. The staff we found hardly willing to help in any way, after walking in too. The Food when someone helps you get an order is excellent

Excellent value for money. It's my go-to for souvlaki. Can't be beat in terms of value. Their burgers are also tasty. You also have to love a place that has the 20-year reunion edition of the Ms Pac-Man arcade game. If you want to skip the pretension and overinflated prices in typical Toronto establishments, this place is a stalwart gem. A veritable institution.
