So this was my first time experience in a korean restaurant. Had Uncle Joseph chicken, chicken hotpan, Ramen and shrimp tempura. Have to say i loved their uncle Joseph chicken, itz coated in a sweet sauce and topped with cheese. Also loved one of their Ramen verity. I cant remember itz name , but itz noodles with Alfredo sauce and their special spicy sauce and sween corn. Definitely recommend this place. Ambience and service is really good too.

All my teenage nieces who are into Korean culture loved the food here. They had the Sotteok Sotteok ($12), Takoyaki ($12), Cheese Ramen ($17) and Original Street Food Style Ttokbokki ($17).
My usual Korean go-to is Bibimbap but I wanted to try something different. I was curious about their Omurice so ended up getting it with Donkatsu and vegetable fried rice and house sauce ($20). The sweetness of the sauce shocked me a little as I’m not really a fan of sweet except in desserts. The fried pork was crispy but nothing special as was the fried rice. I probably wouldn’t get that dish again or maybe try it with a different protein and sauce. I also got the Bibim Dumpling (10 pcs) ($15) and it was just okay but the little salad it came with was quite flavorful and had good acidity.
The Gamjatang (Pork Bone) Hot Pot ($43) was enough for three people. My mom said she had better broth at another place but noted the pork was pretty good. Also shared was a Vegetable Pancake ($18) which was okay and Japchae with Beef ($19) which nobody ended up eating as we were all pretty full. We ordered too much food.
We had reservations for 5pm on a Sunday but it wasn’t busy at all. The place has a nice cosy atmosphere and has rooms you can reserve for up to 6 people. Just note you need to ring a bell for service. It wasn’t explained to us when we got seated and a few in our group got irritated when nobody came to take our order. It’s a good thing I had experience at another a Korean place and noticed the bells on the wall.

Ordered street style teokbokei along with uncle jose chicken-recommended by one of the waitress. It was a very good combination and appetizing as well- sweet, spicy and cheesy. Definitely coming back to try Cold noodles with BBQ Galbi.
Service was fast and friendly, we went there during lunchtime and had the whole station booked. We seen her a couple times, will be back soon!!

Exceptional Korean Cuisine!
I'm still reeling from the incredible dining experience at SIKGAEK! The moment I stepped in, I was enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic meal.
The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who took the time to explain each dish and made excellent recommendations. The food, oh the food! Each bite was a masterclass in flavor and technique, with standouts like the tender Bulgogi beef, crispy Korean fried chicken, and savory Bibimbap.
The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. I was impressed by the variety of options, including plenty of vegetarian and spicy choices.
What truly made this restaurant shine was the attention to detail and commitment to quality. Every element, from the flavorful sauces to the refreshing kimchi, was expertly crafted to create a harmonious and delicious whole.
If you're a fan of Korean cuisine or just looking to try something new, Sikgaek is a must-visit destination. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu!"

Overall the food was decent. Ordered the fried shrimp omurice, bimimbap and ttokboke. Each table is a private and service was fine.

I like the place, no issues with parking. Food was really good! We had the takoyaki+omurice, boneless chicken with Joseph sauce (we had the sauce on the side ‘coz of my son), spicy pork on rice and cheese corn. Everything was really good! The spice level is OK that you can still enjoy the food. Added this to our food go to’s in Mississauga 👍🏼

I went an hour before closing. Fried chicken was dry sort of like it was re cooked . The ribs were too salty. About half way through my meal I was rushed to pay with 20 mins till closing then left my remaining food my bill came to $100. Just my experience with closing I’m sure this place is probably better during the day

Came in for a late night craving of Uncle Joseph. We didn't have to wait too long. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Consistent too as we've ordered this several times before. Will always come back for this. Fantastic service too!

Great service, delicious food, cute interior. Love the seafood pancake, it is extra crispy. Pork bone soup is a great portion. Wings are good.
