Sakura Ichiban Restaurant

So afyer a year am updating this review, I popped by to have a quick lunch only to find they had shut permanently on September 26th. good sushi, everything else is just ok

Very fresh, high grade chicken used in the teriyaki. Had the green dragon roll and volcano roll, both were very tasty, without being over bearing. Left feeling good and satisfied! Service was top notch, very friendly and accommodating staff. Food came out quickly and hot (the teriyaki that is)

A small, family themed restaurant. The exterior of the restaurant is not very inviting, but do not be discouraged. The staff was extremly nice, and overall atmosphere of this place was really friendly. We ordered Yaki Soba noodles, which I highly recommend. Also, their Edamame beans are perf. After spending some time in Japan, I think that this restaurant is very authentic, especially their sushi. We will be back!

I ate sushi and other manu at this place. First, Food look neat, clean and delicious. All manu which I had were fresh and actually delicious. Staffs are very friendly. Best thing is that kitchen is clean and organized . This is the place If you are looking for good japanese restaurant.!!

To preface this I want to specify I didn't order the sushi (which seems to be the highlight here) as I'm not a fan of sushi in general. I ordered the New York Butter Yaki, a dish described as being pan fried beef in butter with vegetables. It was swimming in excess oil - I'm not sure it was even butter. The "vegetables" consisted of 90% onions, the cheapest and least satisfying vegetable. The beef was chewy, oily and undercooked. I struggled through it. The one redeeming quality of this restaurant was the lovely waitress who despite being the only one on duty was quite pleasant and efficient.

The staff were quite friendly and the food was very delicious!

Lunch special - Salmon Teriyaki was good. Wish there was All You Can Eat Sushi.

If you’re looking for tasty and affordable sushi around downtown, look no more. I recommend you try sharing a dinner special and a couple of maki rolls or for sushi lover, ask for the party combos.

Great value, very fresh fish for a reasonable price.

Order take out from here once a week. A great spot. I am a salmon lover and this place always delivers great tasting salmon sashimi. I moved close to here 3 months ago and its already a weekly staple for me
