The Four Seven

The place was very packed on a Friday night. It was extremely hot inside, barely any ventilation. They had a fan at the back of the room but it did nothing. We were seated but waited quite long to have our orders taken. The food was decent - good flavours - but the options were kind of small. It was extremely dark inside so we couldn’t really see what we were eating. Overall, the experience was mediocre - i would not return.

Food was amazing, my friend and I shared the empanadas and the quesadillas and they were wonderful! Service is great, attentive without being overbearing, and atmosphere is upbeat while also relaxed.

Perfect spot for girls night. Very good choice of food and cocktails. Loved the whole vibe of the place.

Quite possibly the best atmosphere of any restaurant/bar I've been to in Toronto. Their decor, lighting and music are all top-notch, making this a great place to hang out. My partner and I tried the roast kimchi chop cheese, as well as the kalbi empanadas, and both were nothing short of amazing. Their menu had several other items that I'd guess are really good and will have to try. The staff were attentive, efficient and friendly. Like many spots in Toronto, it is quite small, so if you're uncomfortable with tight spaces, this might not be for you, but I found it spacious enough to be comfortable and get around. I'll definitely be back!

Had a first date here last year and it was awesome. Low key, was really nervous to begin with but the overall atmosphere makes for a fun time. The food is delicious — huge fan of the phat fries and the roast kimchi chop cheese.

Super cool place to go for drinks with Friends. The menu offers good food options. Food is fresh, drinks are good, prices are reasonable, quick fast friendly service. Good location, cozy atmosphere with nice music, recommend.

Loved it!! Went crazy over the Phat Fries, but all of our dishes were really great. Aside from the fact that we ordered more than enough (2 fries, e.g.!), our bill was pretty hefty because we had two cocktails each and they’re not cheap. Still, they’re unique and well worth it — the Ube X was my favorite, but all were really good, plus you could taste the alcohol, so no skimping here. Warning! You have to find this place by the address — there is no sign and the front is covered with graffiti so it looks abandoned. Also, beware — the address is 1241 Bloor W., but if you’re watching the even numbers on the opposite side, 1240 is like a block to the east. Weird.

A friend suggested we go to this place. I'd never heard of it personally, but I am so glad I went. So unassuming from first glance, caged windows and graffiti with a hint of the neon glow from the outside. Inside is like walking into a space, not of Toronto. Cozy, unique, music, and an unbeatable atmosphere. I was not only transported by the look and feel but also the food! Hopefully, you are already a fan of Korean food, and if so, you are in for a suprise with their fusion take. Great for sharing. We got the epanadas, wedge salad, and corn cheese. Will be back!

Loved this place.. great food and drinks and a good service as well. We Roast Kimchi Chop Cheese Biggie sandwich, Tempura Salt Cod and the Eggplant Kanpungi. All tasted great along with some Paloma cocktails (mezcal and grapefruit).
