Dumpling Queen

Went here for lunch on a Sunday right at opening with 3 adults and a toddler. We didn't expect a high chair but not only did they have a high chair, they brought out baby utensils, plates, and a cup! The service was excellent (my water was never below 75% full) and the food was wonderful. We ordered some dumplings (rainbow and soup), a pork stir fry, broccoli, and scallop noodles. The only non-positive comment is that the rainbow dumplings look cute but some of the fillings are just ok. Will definitely return!

Great local spot with delicious food! I’ve been back on multiple occasions & the portions always hit the spot - I’d highly recommended their soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings & scallion oil noodles! Pretty yummy drinks too with themes depending on the season! Friendly & fast service as well

I ordered food based on the picture on the menu. However, the dish that came out was a different color from what I saw on the menu, so I asked them to check if there was a mistake. The staff replied that it was due to the lighting. So, I turned on the lights and took a picture.

I came into town for work and Dim Sum is always on my list when I’m in Toronto and I happened to stop by here and I was so glad I did. The soup dumplings and the baby bok choy in garlic sauce were on point! The staff were also very lovely and couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Delicious food (bao had a nice crust on the bottom & soup dumplong was flavourful), amazing service. Waitress was able to anticipate our need for water just as we were saying it, constantly! Daily specials are okay in taste, great pricing (around $10) & filling. 10/10 would come back for the specials. PICTURED IS THE SOUP DUMPLING & TUESDAY DAILY SPEPCIAL.

I think the dumplings are very flavourful here! Although they are a little pricy compared to other places in the city, they are still very juicy and tasty. I am a big fan of the scrambled eggs with shrimp and stir fried noodles, however these are also very pricey. I think this place could be much more popular than it is if the prices were reevaluated because the food is quite decent.

The food was good, serive was amazing. Staff were friendly and our water was never empty. The pork and chives dumpling were great. Skewers tasty.

Randomly stepped into this store with my friend, super nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food for a great price!

The rainbow dumplings are okay but the soup dumplings were really delicious. Rain buns i think would be better if they had some sort of filling, wasn't a fan of it just basically being coloured bread. But in saying that everything did taste fresh regardless. I also appreciated that the server check if we had allergies. There is a washroom on site and they offer a discount if you pay cash over card.

So so so glad this place is Downtown! Have dined in a few times already and it is consistently the best. Food is served extremely quick and fresh and even though they specialize in dumplings/buns their dishes are such high quality. Service is also as good as it gets, everyone is kind and the waitress working weekdays is so nice! Definitely underrated because never as crowded as its quality and service should guarantee it is. Will have to try and get take out next for a full review! June 2024 (Update): Still a favourite DT! New dishes/pictures updated.
