Fran's Restaurant and Bar

Fran's was very good. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. Highly recommended for breakfast 😋

Our server was great! He was so helpful in accommodating our food allergies. The two members of our family who have to eat gluten and dairy free were able to eat here safely!

I make sure to dine here every time I visit Toronto! The food is amazing, the staff are always friendly, and the prices are very reasonable! The atmosphere and aesthetic is great inside and outside!

The flashing neon sign outside is super enticing but i was kind of let down when i went for breakfast. The servers were nice but nothing about the experience really set this place apart from anywhere else. Im from out of the city so im not used to toronto cost of living, but i dont think such a mid tier big breakfast should be 20 dollars. It came with 2 of each, eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes, and a side of toast and potatoes. Volume wise, yes the plate was relatively full, but 65% of that dish was unseasoned carbs.. i just expected it to taste WAY better than it was. Probably a solid spot to nurse a hangover, but i think you can find much tastier options around toronto at that price point.

Very old and original location. They have certainly maintained at all as it was. It's a really cool experience. The food is always classic and good and well-priced. I just really wish they would season their potatoes better. Sometimes the noise is coming out of the kitchen our little wild but all is okay. The staff are friendly and do a good job of servicing and working the very busy location. There is a little patio which is always really hard to get on. The patio is shaded.

Very cool cozy place with the vibe 80s! It’s a good option for any time of the day. The portions are real North American! So be prepared for a lot of food! Staff are nice and professional, but may be busy from time to time.

My friend and I went here after having a bad experience at another brunch place. Our server was super sweet and the food came out fast! My friend and I each got the scrambled croissant and really enjoyed it. The restaurant has old fashion diner vibes and we would definitely go back!

Came here for Pride. The bartender was amazing and then the manager met with us and he was very friendly and really fun. We were only here for a snack and then ended up staying because the music was fun. The people were amazing!!!! You should come here if you have not. Top floor bar is super fun

I love Frans. The menu options are endless and the food is fresh and delicious. This is a great place to go if you have multiple people with different dietary needs, they have something for everyone. The service is also incredible.

The server we had was very good! He was friendly and very attentive. My monte Cristo was the best I have had to date! Highly recommend stopping by and trying out this gem ! 💎
