I recently got takeout from here and was delighted with my meal. The hot and sour soup had the perfect balance of flavors, and both the chicken pakora and shrimp pakora were cooked to perfection, crispy and full of taste. The quality and taste of the food exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

Was very surprised by this place. Very old school setup, place is not well lit and a bit dusty. Food was exceptional, delicious, though, and portions were great for the price. Definitely will be bck

If I could give this place a 0 stars I would. First, there are so many better places in the GTA to eat Hakka, and this place ain’t it. Their food was so bad, their hot n sour soup tasted like ketchup and didn’t even look like a hot n sour soup. They didn’t time the food properly. They would give me the soup and before I even finish they bring my main course. The place is also dirty, the table was sticky and the restaurant had some type of smell. The servers were also pretty rude, just hand the food as if they were doing us a favour. Overall, DON’T BE FOOLED WITH THE 5 STAR REVIEWS.

No Atmoshere at all, Imagine you eating and some two strangers standing on top of your head talking loudly to the point, I can’t even hear my friend sitting next to me, and one time a strange lady keeps talking, then eventually she hangs her perse on my chair and she standing in top of my head .....I know there is a sign for food pick up in other side of the dining area but the big problem is people waiting to be seated are always on top of our head and the owner seems to be fine with it. But really you can't enjoy your food there!! Food: Some dishes are perfect. The only two dishes that I tried, which is not good are chicken and beef noddles ( there is very little meat or chicken and mostly fried egg ) while i am paying for noddles with chicken and beef. Another dish is beef with mixed vegetables. The meat is not done right, so you can feel the raw meat, and that is ruining the test of the vegetable as well... I wish the owner had fixed these issues or working on them

Food was delicious. Service was not great. Had to wait for 30min for our food and even then the server barely came to our table and we had to go out of our way to get a hold of them to pay so we could leave.

Solid spot for some halal hakkah dining. The restaurant is well kept and the staff are attentive and friendly. Tried a few items on the menu and liked them all. The crispy ginger beef was good and had nice sweet and spicy flavor to it. It doesn't come with gravy but it's dressed in seasoning and it works well. the chilly chicken and the sweet and sour chicken were both good as well. Although I wasnt provided with the gravy chilly chicken which would have been better. Also tried the combo chicken and shrimp fried rice which was also good.

I like it, almost love the food here. They are quick and efficient as well. Chilli chicken dry is a must.

I've been going to the Scarborough location. But this one is no exception to delicious cuisine. Do order and call ahead if you're not planning to dine in. This place is that good! That there's a wait ✋️ and it's well worth it. Believe me. I've tried many hakka places before, and I always find myself going back to this one. Don't knock this place or any food establishment, especially if you can't cook. Lol you're in no position to comment on that.

Am disappointed how the quality of food has gone down. The last 3 times I have picked up food from there, I did not enjoy the food. The hakka noodles was mostly noodles with very little vegetables and chicken. General Tao beef was also a disappointment. 😔

I have been coming to Frederick’s since they opened there first store in Scarborough. Went to this location for lunch and was so disappointed in the taste and quality. Chili chicken had no taste and was oily.. the rice was just mush .. so better guys .. I’ll just stick with the Scarborough location.
